I have no idea what happens anymore. It used to be the case that old threads would just disappear under default settings and that you could change your timeframe settings so you could find old ones. However, I've gone back recently to find some threads that are only a week or so beyond the default view and they're completely gone. Yet some threads that are older than that are still there. I'm not sure what's going on. I think that's why people are starting what appear to be duplicate threads. Sometimes it's easier to just start a new one than wonder if the old one is still there or completely dead.

Yeah, except for the fact that unless the six disc has the original cuts of the OT on them, I'm not bothering. I generally only watch deleted scenes once unless they are spliced into the fabric of the film. And, at under $10 a piece, I'm not really losing much.

Hey all,

There are just too damned many pages to surf through here to find my answer so I'm hoping one of you knows where to find it all...

I just purchased Eps. 1 & 2 on DVD and would like to print out new covers for my Def.Col. OT with covers similar to the PT DVDs. I know someone (I think Rebel Rouser) created some. Where can I find those? And did someone ever make a cover for the Clone Wars Animated that fits that theme? Please let me know. I'd like some consistency in my collection. Call me anal retentive, I don't care.

Well, I caved to some degree. No, I didn't buy or watch the OT DVDs. However, I did buy Eps 1 & 2 on DVD today. There were only $9.79 each at Circuit City. Couldn't say no. Sorry if I disappointed you all. But I'll finally be able to see TPM again and rejudge it based on all the discussion here.

All "romance" languages tend to have similarities that allow you to functionally understand them all if you have a very strong grasp of another. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to imply that fluency in one is fluency in all. But you can pick out words here and there and, on occasion, figure out what is being said based on context.

I'm not fluent in Spanish, but I do have a strong grasp of it. As a result, I've found myself able to piece together stuff being said in Portuguese, French, and Italian. Enough to get by, at least.

I just have one question on the whole Death Star issue... when do they actually say it is complete? I know Tarkin makes reference to this "fully functional battle station" which could imply that it was just completed (or was that Palpy in ROTJ who says that?). But why do we assume that it took what would actually be 18 years as Luke and Leia are born in ROTS and are 18 in ANH? Maybe it's been done for some time and has been floating about biding its time to make its first appearance. Or maybe they've been adding on or refining it before actually using it? Just some ideas to ponder.

I am a big, huge believer in the OT. I worship them and hate the SEs of the films. I refuse to buy the 2004 DVD releases of the films either. That being said for the rookies around here, here's my ranking...

1. ESB
2. ANH
3. ROTS
4. AOTC
5. ROTJ (just barely below AOTC)
6. TPM (waaaaaayy below)

Sorry, the more I think about the Ewoks defeating the Empire on Endor, the less I like the movie. Just my two Lincolns.
