He has appeared in some movies. But, from what I've read, his rule is that he either needs to be in makeup (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) or with a full beard (Comic Book: The Movie) to show up in front of the camera. Whatever will hide his scars. Botched skin grafts, or so I'm told.

Jedi Spirit is the end of the road here at OT.com. When the site first started, Jedi Council was the highest ranking and only required something like 1,000 posts to achieve. When Jay saw how a bunch of us were just tearing through the rankings, he changed the post levels. Then we suggested Jedi Spirit and he agreed and added it. But there is nothing up above it. I should come up with something.

We have Loews out here in the Midwest as well. I wonder if this will be the case for all of them. More power to them. I'll be curious to see if there is any advertiser backlash.

Hell, I need to come up with something new for me to strive for. Maybe a 20K "Jedi Lunatic" ranking? Or a 20K "Get a Life Already" ranking?

And the normal lot of commercials. I tell ya, I know advertisers love playing their commercials before movies because they have a captive audience, but I've made it a personal quest to never buy any of the products or take advantage of the services advertised via commercials in the theater. That's how pissed off I get about them. I want to run a theater where commercials are banned and trailers are actually run before showtime. I would make this policy known ahead of time so people know to get there on time or ahead of time. I wonder if anyone has ever tried this sort of thing before and what luck they did (or did not) have.
