Lost Finale

There's no question that, as an episode and a cliffhanger, it is great. And yes, JJ is becoming the best. Can't believe that someone else out there appreciates Felicity. My wife is a junkie and has all the seasons.

I'm more worried about the popularity of the show. Finales without many answers can scare away the viewers. They get frustrated and bored and don't want to come back. I admit to wanting some answers, not all, just some. But many people want a lot more and may be so upset about it that they won't bother to come back. The show is still too young to risk losing that many viewers.

I can't wait for the DVDs with all the proposed features. That will be one set of features I will watch!

I can't agree with Luke as a troll. He's got 3,928 posts. That transcends Troll status by something like 3,878 posts, doesn't it? He's proven his dedication to the site and its purpose a hundredfold.

He's a lifer here and we'll always welcome him back with open arms any time he decides to post on a regular basis.

So get your worthless ass back here regular, okay, punk?

Oh, and I'd like to thank the Academy for my award!

SPOILERS for those who haven't seen the finale. Beware.

Yeah, I'm a bit ticked off as well. J.J. Abrams was interviewed on a local radio morning show a little over a month ago and he said that the finale would answer all questions except maybe one or two (gotta have something to make people want to come back for season 2). But I feel like nothing was really answered. No reason as to why they were there, nothing about the numbers, nothing about the Black Rock other than it's a big ass ship that somehow got stranded two miles inland, nothing about what's in the hatch. Nothing was answered.

We were only left with more to ponder.

What will happen to Walt?

Are Jin and Sawyer still alive?

Will karma strike the pirates and they will be stranded on the island as well only to become yet another adversary for the survivors?

What the hell is the black cloud (some people are hypothesizing that it is a cloud of nanobots - it's the only thing that can look like a cloud, take the form of something else, and actually be able to exert the force necessary to drag a person through the woods)?

Yes, the episode was thrilling as hell just like any other. Actually even more so. But there are too many loose ends to resolve. Finales need to resolve something.

But I will definitely still be tuning in to season 2.

Ooooooohhhhhhh... me likey. Now that would be something to strive for!

JAYYYYYYYYY... 25K should now equal "The Chosen One" and I think it should only be given to the first person to obtain it. The second person (and all subsequent persons) at that level will get "Not Quite So Chosen As The Chosen One" or some Monty Pythonesque derivation therein.

Time to get posting!

That would require renting, buying, or borrowing the new DVDs, wouldn't it? Hmmm... I'll just read about him on the web. Google came up with a bunch of stuff on him. I don't know anyone in the area where I live who owns the new DVDs and I still refuse to fork out any of my money for them be it ownership or rental.
