College ball is definitely faster. Let the pros take the big-name talent. I have no problem with that. What's left are the people who are playing due to sheer passion for the game. Many never expect to make the pros so they just play their hearts out knowing this could be the end of the line for their ball-playing days. I love it.

I'm a big Kentucky Wildcats fan (grew up five miles from the campus and my first sports exposure was a season-opening midnight practice when I was like 5 or 6 years old). Therefore, I hate Duke.

She's not a good test taker. She hates them with a passion. She's great at interviews and conveying information orally (don't even...). She'd be a good lawyer. I'm the opposite. I'm great at tests and papers, but the speaking thing takes me some warming up. So I don't really bring up my test scores around her too often for fear of making it sound like I'm rubbing salt on an open wound or somesuch. I tell her how I do overall.

Yeah, regardless of who they vote for, all US citizens are entitled to vote no matter where in the world they are.

Mark my words, no matter who wins, there is going to be a lawsuit filed in this election and none of us will decidedly know the winner until at least a week after the election is over. 2000 screwed it up and set a new precedent for how the President is chosen. The election will never be the same.

Evangeline Lilly as Lois Lane? Where'd you hear this, Reg? I'm all over it.

The last I heard, it was likely to be Topher Grace as Jimmy Olson and Mischa Barton as Lois Lane. I'm thankful it's not though. I can handle Ashmore as Lane. He visually fits the part.

And, yes, Superman does come back after being killed by Doomsday, but it's still too early to kill him off in a movie or introduce the character that does the deed. You need to establish some of the traditional storyline first.

Tough it out, ya puss.

Just be careful how you wrangle him or you could wind up with Michael Jackson-esque charges filed against you.

I know that's not entirely funny, but I do worry about being a parent in this day and age. I worry about how some teachers and neighbors might interpret stuff that happens and think that some kind of abuse is going on. Can you imagine doing something as innocuous as playing football, having your kid trip and bruise himself, and then have the police stop by because your kid's teacher thinks you hit him/her?

Sorry, back on topic. No costume for me this year. Waiting to pull out the big guns for when I have kids. Haven't gone full blow on a Halloween costume since I was in high school. Looking forward to it. I was pretty good with costume paint.

Do you think Lucas would have the unmitigated gall to just rebuild Star Wars completely, from scratch, in a computer? He could have everything just the way he wanted, even if it breaks universal and natural laws.

That's what I fear for the potential 2007 release. Should it actually happen (the Ultimate Edition release, that is)
