This was supposed to be a German car commercial and, apparently, the spirit of some child was captured on film. I think the legend goes that this child was killed during a stormy accident on this very road where the commercial was shot. So, anyway, here is the finished commercial. It never aired because the crew were so freaked out by what was seen on film that they became very superstitious and begged to not have it air. I guess they all worked overtime to film a new commercial so as to live up to their end of the contract. Weird stuff. You can see the spirit as the car weaves around the bend and passes behind a thick treestand. If you have a good sound card, you can even hear some strange sounds that they think might be attributed to the spirit. I heard a little bit, but my sound card isn't the best. You really have to turn it up a little bit though.

I don't translate Osama's words that way. I view it more as, with Kerry in office, you have someone that is willing to diplomatically work through world problems; whereas with Bush, you could have a guy at your doorstep with a white flag out and he'll still shoot him. Just my two Lincolns.

Believe it or not, some of us actually like the matte lines and the sparseness of sets. That's how it was when we grew up watching it. That's how we want it now. Sometimes I throw in my old VHS just to see the matte lines. They're comforting in a really odd way.

Nah, the Cubs were playing like crap this season before Nomar came over. Actually, for the first couple weeks that he was here, we only had 1 or 2 losses and the rest were ticked up in the win column. He did a lot to reenergize us when he first came over. But then we returned to our shitty ways soon afterward. I don't blame him. I blame the Cubs as a whole. They all dropped the ball, sometimes literally.

That was one of the accusations made against priests in the time before the Bible was finally committed to print and was passed on through oral tradition. Who knows how much of the Bible was really there when it was first "written"?

I very much like the electrical plug and outlet. That and the handcuff costume are great for couples. Although, if you go to a party dressed as a plug and you're wandering without your significant other, people are left wondering which adds a little air of mystery until you are reunited with your other half. Then it becomes really funny. I'd opt for that costume.

Have you always been fluent in English or did you pick up on it later in life (I'm assuming your primary language is Portuguese)?
