Well, there are companies that have paid for naming rights on children. And there are parents who have auctioned naming rights for their children. Sad, eh?

If I were one of those children, I would be suing for independence and legally changing my name before grade school. Can you imagine how much resentment a child like that would have for their parents? Childhood is cruel enough even with a normal name. Give a bully ammunition like a stupid name and that child is screwed for life.

Usually, I'm a junkie for a couple of days and then it wanes. Only one other forum held my attention for an extended period, but it was a while back. My addiction lasted about 3 months and mostly because of one thread (a six degrees game). Then I gave up and found this site a couple months later. Been stuck since it opened up. Damn you Jay!

I pray it doesn't wind up like Catwoman. I'm intrigued if for no other reason than another opportunity to see Garner in leather. But that's another story.

The way I figure it, it cannot possibly be any worse than Daredevil. Heck, Affleck should have little to no role in it (there is a rumor he might have a cameo as he was on the set at some point during filming; but that could just be because he's dating Garner now).

Yeah, the BestBuy deals were only 6am-noon. And I think only in-store as well. I don't think the deals were offered online.

The RetroCon has a really nice feel to it. Rubber grip on the bottom of it. The only thing that's a bit different to get used to is having the L1/2 and R1/2 buttons on the top where I'm not used to aligning my fingertips. Where those buttons lie is where the knuckle would be opn the old Nintendo controllers so I have to get used to bending my fingers now.

Well, not to say that she and Chris are bad parents, but maybe off-kilter names such as these should be run through some kind of naming committee. Never thought about that Apple Martini thing. Funny stuff.

So, in that same vein, the Chicago Flames would certainly work as well. However, we do have the Chicago Fire in MLS. Be a bit of a conflict, I suppose. When did the Atlanta Flames exist and in what league? Because wasn't Calgary one of the Original Six?

Maybe it's time for the Manglers to lay waste to Calgary so the name will be applicable?
