I agree that Fellowship is great. However, when I compare EEs to Theatrical Editions, I must say that, in my mind, the EE helped TTT's story so much more than Fellowship's story. Fellowship didn't really need the EE footage to help it; it was a great movie in and of itself. However, I liked the theatrical of TTT much less than FOTR. But, when I saw the EE of TTT, I was so blown away by the additional footage that I now absolutely love TTT as a result. I admit that TTT, overall, has more faults in it than FOTR. I liked the TTT book ending much more than where Jackson chose to end it. Stuff like that.

Just my opinion of course.

Enough abbreviations in my message?

"Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause of the leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P."

Well, if that were truly the case, they never would have been interested in him in the first place. Did anyone see how small Sosa was this past season compared to seasons prior? He was a shadow of his former self. It's my opinion that he dropped the juice before the '04 season because of the controversy with him and the corked bat in '03. Afraid of an investigation. So, considering how badly he did in '04 (relative to previous seasons), they never should have been expressing interest in him period. There might still be hope.

It was reported on the radio this morning here in Chicago that the Cubs #1 priority at the winter meetings is to dish out Sosa (yay!) and the second priority is to get a new closer (yay!). Also, the Cubs are on the verge of resigning both Todd Walker (yay!) and Nomar Garciaparra (yay!).

That's four big yays for the Cubs this post season. There will be a big huge mutha of a yay when Sosa is finally dished. C'mon Dodgers or Mets. Come through for us.

Sorry, not me. I refer to TTT: EE as "my precious". ROTK was so damned long just in the theatrical edition that I'm not sure I'm looking forward to the additional 45 minutes in the EE. But I'm a completist and seeing as how I've been buying only the EEs, I need this one or my collection will look off.

Starkiller, apparently that "little extra" that God put in Favre just wasn't enough.

Nice job, Eagles. Smack that Pack.

Motti, just discovered that one of my former college mates is on the Jets. Didn't realize he was traded. Justin McCareins at WR. So I'll root for the Jets in limited quantity.

Oh, and GO BEARS!!!! Had a little fun with our Norse neighbors! 24-14 with a great performance by our FOURTH quarterback of the season, Chad Hutchinson with three TD passes.

Yummy.

Hey, did any of you read the newsbit on IMDb this morning about Kate Beckinsale and how one of the reasons she did Van Helsing was to prove that she can be sexy? Apparently, before she did Underworld, when her now-husband was trying to convince studio execs to cast her in the role, they said she can't be viewed as sexy because she's too "motherly". WTF is that? Am I the only one who thinks Beckinsale is a sexy woman? So then she did Van Helsing to further prove her ability to be "sexy". Too bad she had to do it in such a bad movie. But still and all the same.
