But that won't work because it says that they should raise their hands if they see a black dot on EITHER of the other two applicants heads. You know (by "you" I mean that you are the person referred to in the riddle as being the one who sees black dots on the other two people's heads) that each of them have a black dot, so really all they have to do is see each other's heads and realize that one person of the other two that they are seeing has a black dot. You yourself could have a white dot, but it doesn't matter because they each still see one person with a black dot... each other.

What is a Black and Tan?
The answer depends on who you ask. The all-Guinness Black & Tan is Harp's Lager and Guinness. (Harp's is brewed by Guinness at Dundalk). Many consider the classic Black & Tan to be Bass Pale Ale and Guinness. (To some Irish, they appreciate the fact that the Irish comes out on top!) However, Bass Ale is not as available in Ireland as it used to be, and either Harp or Smithwicks is generally used. However, there are many variations involving a stout or porter and another lighter coloured beer, either lager or ale.
A half-and-half is often just another name for a Black & Tan. However, in many North American Irish pubs, the Bass/Guinness combination is called a Black & Tan, while the Harp/Guinness combination is called a Half-and-Half.

I use Harp because of how light it is. Haven't tried Bass Pale, though. Didn't know it existed. Plus, I have a glass I stole from a pub that says Black and Tan on it with the logos for Guinness and Harp. Now that I know that Harp is brewed by Guinness, the conflicting reports make more sense; Guinness wants to sell all their own brands so they'll shill Harp as the tan on their own glasses.

I didn't imply that you did like it. I was pointing out the fact for others who might read the thread. Sorry about the confusion. If I really thought you said you liked it, I would've said something much harsher.
Here's the cover for the rest of you...

Yes, that is a skull and crossbones.

Ric, apparently the guy came on stage muttering some crap about Darrell breaking up Pantera or some such and then fired three shots at him. Read that on MTV.com. Jilted fan?
AGR, was Dimebag still playing with Pantera on the new album they released this year?

The way I view this redesign is their last attempt at sales before the launch of PS3. Think about it, PS1 comes out as the big old system then is redesigned as the ultrasmall PSX just before the PS2 is released. Now the PS2 is redesigned and I do believe the PS3 is supposed to come out in late '05/early '06, if I recall. I might be wrong, but I swear I've heard rumblings.
I'm not getting it. I don't play games online. Heck, I hardly play games on my PS2 as it is. I never have time. If you have a PS2 and online capability as it is, to buy this new one is almost as pointless as those people paying higher than retail for it on eBay. But if you aren't online capable yet, go for it (or wait for the PS3 as you'll probably need the money then

I'm assuming that the question in your riddle is how he knows it?
I'll go out on a limb here... one of the other applicants is wearing glasses and the guy who guesses correctly can see his reflection in the glasses.

11. The cold tasteless stuff you insist on calling beer is not actually beer at all, it is lager. From November 1st only proper British Bitter will be referred to as "beer", and European brews of known and accepted provenance will be referred to as "Lager". The substances formerly known as "American Beer" will henceforth be referred to as "Near-Frozen Gnat's Urine".
If I already drink Killian's, Guinness, Bass, and Harp as a rule, am I already set?
I'm all for renaming the World Series. I always did find that rather odd even if we do have two teams (well, now it's just one) that are from outside the U.S.
But I must admit that I will never give up on American Football. Sorry, ain't happenin'. I would pit the Chicago Bears linebacking crew against rugby toughs you have. Even without gear. Brian Urlacher is one scary mofo.
