Yet still with no division title.

I would love to see either the Eagles or the Steelers take it all. My parents are from Pittsburgh, so I dig on them. They were diehard Steelers and Pirates fans for a long time. I got some of their old Pittsburgh sports memorabilia. Most of it Pirates stuff from the 1960 championship team and some other more recent stuff. The first two baseball cards my Dad ever bought for me were old 70s cards of Dave Parker and Willie Stargell. Plus he instilled a love for Mean Joe Greene and Terry Bradshaw in me.

Yet Wally World has leaked outside the U.S. as well with several outlets in Europe and southeast Asia according to one of my business profs. Great, they've already ruined the U.S., now they get to ruin the rest of the world as well.

I think what Dayv means by the "twin" is that a number is split (say "10") into two halves ( 5 + 5) and those two numbers are then put side by side to make a new number (55). If that is the case, then the answer is...

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5

the 2 is split into 1+1, or 11...

1 + 11 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 24

Am I right, Dayv?

HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray
Time
Disney has officially announced its support for BluRay. This from TheDigitalBits...

Quote

So here's where we stand as of today:

HD-DVD Supporting Studios - Warner Bros., New Line, Paramount, Universal, HBO

Likely HD-DVD Supporters - DreamWorks (because of its ties to Universal)

Blu-ray Disc Supporting Studios - Columbia TriStar/Sony Pictures, Buena Vista (Walt Disney, Hollywood, Touchstone, Miramax and Dimension)

Likely Blu-ray Disc Supporters - MGM (soon to be owned by Sony)

Officially Undecided - 20th Century Fox, Lions Gate, Image, Anchor Bay, Criterion and many smaller distributors

Discouraged yet? Yeah, so are we. We're going to have to seriously think about how we want to respond to all this.

Unless they come out with a player that plays both BluRay and HD as well as being backward compatible with standard DVD (which TDB.com says is very likely and several companies are currently working on it), I'm riding out the storm until the industry settles on one or the other.

There was also a papparazzi shot of Lohan through a car window with her smiling and the front of her dress is falling forward. Looked like her nipple was airbrushed out because the photo was taken just before her 18th birthday. Gotta stay legal, eh? The airbrushed version is the only one I've seen.

Bastards. Hasselbeck was my fantasy starter. Thanks to his dropoff in play, I'm near the bottom of my fantasy league right now. I picked up Bledsoe from free agency for my final regular season game in a last ditch effort to make the playoffs.

That must have been fun. Did you show her what one looks like?

Warbler, what do you mean "the good old days"!?!?! I've still got my turntable and collection of something like 60 albums. Great stuff too. Original Beatles, Pink Floyd, Elvis. I love it.

You young whippersnapper.

A Moment of Silence for Dimebag Darrell

I can't imagine being Vinnie Paul (Darrell's brother and drummer for Damageplan) and watching as your brother is shot dead in front of you. I know I'd be beating myself up for the rest of my life wondering what I could have done to stop it. I know it seems unreasonable to think you could actually do something to stop the guy, but you're gonna wonder anyway. And it's gonna tear you apart from the inside out. I feel horrible for Vinnie.

Beer
Time
I've gotta try this Yuenglings and Smithwicks. It's getting pretty rave reviews here. Gotta find them first. My local Dominick's (grocery store) allows you to build custom six packs from a limited selection of single bottles. Maybe they'll have both of these available. It's worth a shot anyway.

Starboy, thanks! I appreciate it. Kirin is pretty good, too, although I've only had it once. My wife has really good taste in beer and she's willing to try just about any new beer she can get her hands on. Her family is very pro-beer so she's grown up around it. It's a very positive character trait.

I'm only a very little bit Irish, but any little bit helps, right? I'm mostly German (the only nationality that comes from both sides of my family). Both have a great beer heritage.
