If you think about it, jimbo, if you're buying a bootleg of the original cuts, then they really AREN'T going be released on the format. Cuz Lucas said he ain't gonna have it. Unless he plans to be a MAJOR asshole and re-releases the same set only Original Cut just to piss people off and make them spend more dough.

Now, I like the SPecial Editions. Greedo shooting first is weak, but those are the versions I usually watch. (Sorry.) I do have both cuts (alas, on VHS and in full screen.) I fully intend to buy the Special Editions DVDs on September 21. I will be a junior in high school then. I will skip school, go to Target, rush the door right as they open, and snatch up my boxed set. I will go home, and proceed to watch the Original Trilogy in all it's DVD glory back to back to back. Sheeyit, I'll watch TPM and AOTC too.

But if they think that putting out a DVD when what's on it is not what people want is gonna stop said people from buying bootlegs, they are KIDDING THEMSELVES. Half the people signed up here are probably not gonna even buy the SE DVD's on 9/21 (or, you know, EVER) because Lucas has to be such a pathetic little whelp and not put out what everyone wants. His crazy-ass "true envisionment" of the movies as SE's being how he wants them is what's gonna backfire and lose him a mondo amount of cash.

Now, show me where them "OT.com" bootlegs are at.
