Hi, I'm new to the forum and I've been thinking about a story for the prequels. I used the titles I've seen on this page: http://starwarz.com/starkiller/looking-back-to-the-future-of-star-wars/ and I have relied on those movies to create the prequels, with some changes.
In my version the Clone Wars have begun three years before Episode I, The Mandalorians discovered the secret of cloning led by General Kruul and attacked the Republic. In response, the Senate create The Grand Army Of The Republic (GAR), an army of volunteers led by the Jedi Knights.
EPISODE I: THE CLONE WARS
The story begins showing Obi-Wan (33 y.o) traveling to a blue planet called Kamino, a water world, occupied by the Mandalorian warriors armor they wear similar armour and helmets to the bounty hunter Boba Fett, and discover a great city-factory, which should definitely his main plant cloning. However, the subterfuge is not one of the strengths of Obi-Wan and he is in danger, falls under the attack of the Mandalorian ships. He escapes and barely manages to land at the nearest inhabited planet, a desert world called Tatooine.
He lands at the spaceport of Mos Eisley and looking for someone who might be able to repair his ship. But even the most skilled mechanics conclude his ship take several weeks to repair. Frustrated, Obi-Wan has no choice but to find a pilot. He comes into the Mos Eisley cantina. Within no time, begins to attract the wrong type of crowd and starts to get into trouble. Fortunately for him, he is rescued by a young pilot who takes him out quickly. Obi-Wan explained the dire situation he’s in to the pilot, who offers to take him, but he must return to their moisture farm to say goodbye. The pilot offers to spend the night at the farm, Obi-Wan accepts the offer and asks her name, the pilot responds Anakin Skywalker (19 y.o).
Anakin introduces Obi-Wan to his sister Beru (21 y.o) and her boyfriend Owen Lars (21 y.o). During dinner they sit at the table while Obi-Wan asks about his parents Anakin responds they were killed in an attack by the Mandalorians at the beginning of the Clone Wars. Owen Question where Obi-Wan Kenobi comes and replies that he came from Coruscant. Owen is worried and asks why anyone would travel to Coruscant the galaxy to the Outer Rim. Obi-Wan replies that he is a Jedi Knight on a mission to investigate the planet Kamino, but was shot down by the Mandalorians and now needs a pilot.
Anakin adds that he’s going to take Obi-Wan to Coruscant, and that he’s come to say goodbye. Owen is distressed by this announcement, and Anakin asks if he can talk to him outside. He asks if Anakin lost his head and tells him to stay away from people like Obi-Wan, because the Jedi are dangerous. Anakin says that there is nothing for him here, and that this could be his chance to avenge the death of his parents. Owen tells Anakin that he is a great pilot, and must remain on Tatooine where it is safe, and should not be involved. Anakin said to be a dead end for him here, and want to make something of himself, and then drag Owen to accept his decision. The next morning, Anakin says goodbye to Beru and Owen hug each other and tells him to take care of himself. Anakin thanked Owen for taking care of him and wishes him well in his moisture farm, Anakin and Obi-Wan head to Mos Eisley.
Back to Mos Eisley, Obi-Wan and Anakin are preparing the ship, when a fleet of Mandalorian battle arrives, carrying a fire regime on the planet. Anakin and Obi-Wan enter the ship and makes a quick exit. During the course of the flight, Obi-Wan assists with the piloting duties. Somehow they escape relatively unscathed. Obi-Wan cannot help but admire Anakin’s piloting skills, he’s easily the best pilot he’s ever encountered. However, Obi Wan quickly suspects that Anakin’s exceptional skills lie far beyond the realms of a normal man. He believes that Anakin is strong in the Force and perhaps has the potential to achieve greater things.
They arrive at Coruscant, a huge planet completely covered in a global city. Obi-Wan meets with his friend the King Bail Organa on the Alderaan Embassy, to tell the discoveries of Kamino. Anakin begins to realize how far is from his planet. While in the embassy, ??Anakin meets Arcady Naberrie (19 y.o), Senator of Alderaan and member of Bail party, who at first shows a more mature attitude unlike Anakin's reckless personality. But eventually warms to him, recognizing that underneath all the bravado, there's a good man. Soon their friendship becomes love.
In the Senate Bail Organa announced the discoveries made ??by Obi-Wan in Kamino, but the Supreme Chancellor is controlled by its directors, and rejects the attack. This is used by the Senator Palpatine of Naboo, who manipulates the Senate to get a new Supreme Chancellor. Palpatine is among the candidates to replace the Supreme Chancellor, the Senate approved the attack and the system responsible for carrying out the attack will be the defended by General Kenobi, Alderaan. Back to the Alderaan Embassy Obi-Wan informs Bail that Anakin will participate in the attack on Kamino as a pilot, Bail agrees.
The story now switches to the primary cloning facility on Kamino. Two great war fleets face off against each other in a huge and epic battle. On one side, defending their planet the Mandalorians, and on the other, the Republican Army. Anakin fight in space, while Obi Wan takes charge of the action on the ground. He and his men have to shut down the planetary defences in order for the space craft to bombard the facility.
While they passing through the facility , the General Kruul, leader of the Mandalorian army appears, Obi-Wan tells his men to take off the defenses as he faces Kruul. To the surprise of Obi-Wan, Kruul is a Sith. The Jedi believed the Sith extinct, but Kruul's red lightsaber confirms suspicions and lightsaber battle begins. The duel is equal but Kruul skills are impressive and almost manages to kill Obi-Wan. But just as he is about to deliver the coup de grace, the defenses are disabled, Anakin destroys the main plant cloning and a kingdom of fire descends upon the facilities and surroundings. Because troops of the Repbulic are more numerous Kruul is forced to flee. The battle ends in victory for the Republic, with the destruction of the main cloning facility, but the Mandalorian threat is not over.
Back on Coruscant, Palpatine, newly appointed Supreme Chancellor, congratulated General Kenobi and Skywalker for his performance in Kamino, also comments that follow with interest the career of Anakin.
Obi-Wan speaks with his old master, Yoda of its decision to take Anakin as his apprentice, even if it comes defy the Jedi Council, He recognizes that the Force is strong in Skywalker, but he also reveals that the boy is full of fear and anger, remarking that there is a darkness in him, and fears a great danger during his training, but Obi-Wan's request is accepted. Meanwhile, in the Jedi Temple, the council continue to discuss Obi Wan’s revelation about the re-emergence of the Sith and what part they are playing in the strange events that have unfolded recently.
The story ends with a big celebration where Obi-Wan and Anakin, receive a medal from the Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.
EPISODE II: THE SEDUCTION OF DARTH VADER
It's been five years since the destruction of the main plant cloning in Kamino. The Mandalorians have lost virtually all of their cloning facilities, and most of the clones themselves, due to the fact their average life expectancy is reduced, due to the need for rapid growth.
Obi-Wan (38 years) and Anakin (24 years) have become a deeply respected leaders in The Army Of The Republic, and share a close bond as many people believe they are brothers. Obi Wan has continued to train Anakin, and has watched Anakin progress alarmingly fast, flourishing in his Force skills, and even managing to build his own lightsaber. During the past five years, Anakin has married with the Senator of Alderaan, Arcady (24 y.o). Anakin has developed a bond with Palpatine, Anakin’s relationship with Palpatine is slightly different to the one he has with Obi Wan, while he loves Obi Wan like a brother, Palpatine has become more like a father.
Meanwhile, intelligence gathered by Republican spies seems to suggest that the Mandalorians are aware that the end is nigh. Therefore they intend to carry out one big last all out assault against the planet of Alderaan. At this time, Alderaan is a militarized and producer of some of the most sophisticated weapons of the Republic. The Republic initially think that the Mandalorians wish to destroy the planet’s military facilities as retribution for the destruction of their cloning facilities. But soon, something even more disturbing comes to light. Apparently, the Alderaanians have been developing an apocalyptic weapon in secret, a weapon rumoured to be capable of destroying an entire planet. The Mandalorians want to steal this technology and turn the tide of the war back in their favour.
However Alderaan's army is not big enough to fight against the entire Mandalorian army. Bail Organa seeks help in the Senate seeks to send more armies to defend Alderaan. Bail pleas has brought little reward as only six planets can offer their services to Alderaan. Having to be content with what little he has, they proceed to mobilise the defence force around the planet as best and quickly as they can.
The Mandalorians attack with devastating ferocity, using kamikaze tactics to try and shatter the Alderaanian defences. They manage to create a breach and land an invasion force led by the General Kruul. Anakin and Obi-Wan are the only two men who can possibly stand up to Kruul, so endeavour to engage and destroy him.
However, Obi-Wan barely escaped with his life the last time, and Kruul has had five years to hone his skills as a fighter. He defeats Obi-Wan and leaves him unconscious. But Anakin is totally different, the young hero of the Republic unleashed a fury that had previously buried deep within her mind. Kruul can not contain, and fight to stay in the fight. Anakin then hits Kruul working with a blast so powerful that not only killed Kruul, but also destroys a multi-storey building, killing hundreds of people from both parties in the process, completing his revenge against the man who caused the death of their parents.
The battle ends with the Mandalorians utterly defeated, ending the Clone Wars once and for all. But the once prosperous planet of Alderaan has paid a heavy price. Most of their major cities have been flattened, their population utterly decimated. Still reeling in shock, Alderaan’s leaders, which include Bail Organa pass new law prohibiting the possession and manufacture of any kind of weaponry. Alderaan they declare, is to become a pacifist planet.
Back on Coruscant, Anakin and Obi-Wan are recognized as the great heroes of the Clone Wars. At the end of the celebration, Obi-Wan shows up at Anakin's home, but this is not. Arcady tells Obi-Wan that she is pregnant.
Anakin goes to visit Palpatine, to tell what happened to Kruul , the young one is impressed with the power of the Dark Side. Instead of preaching and lecturing him, he encourages him to embrace the awesome power he has. Power is the path to glory, he states. Palpatine reveals that he is the mastermind behind the Clone Wars, He was the one who shared the secret of cloning with the Mandalorians. He tells Anakin to the Sith, an ancient race that had learned to harness the power of the dark side of the Force and how the Republic, led by the "propaganda " Jedi, led eradication. And now that his apprentice Kruul been killed by Anakin , Palpatine should take a new apprentice and he offers to be Anakin. He can teach him things that Obi -Wan has never dared to imagine , he can help him to control that power and together can rule the galaxy. The offer can not be rejected, Anakin swears loyalty to Palpatine and is renamed as Darth Vader.
EPISODE III: FALL OF THE REPUBLIC
It's been a few months since the end of the Clone Wars, but the Republic is still in danger. The Jedi Knights are being hunted by a mysterious murderer. Because the events Palpatine, who already has under his control the Senate, imposes martial law until the murderer is eliminated.
Obi-Wan (39 y.o) with Yoda secretly investigate planets where the Jedi are killed with the hope of discovering the murderer.
On Utapau, where he was killed last Jedi, they discover a holorecording learning that Anakin was solely responsible for the slaughter. We also discover that Palpatine is the Sith Lord who trained Kruul. We also discover that Palpatine sent Anakin to Mustafar to kill a group of Jedi on Mustafar. Yoda will direct to Alderaan and Obi-Wan will direct to Mustafar to meet his friend.
There Anakin (25 y.o) has killed a group of Jedi. Anakin tells Obi-Wan that the Jedi are weak. Jedi seek to be poor and relative powerless. Anakin says that the dark side offers riches beyond the wildest ambitions of any man. Anakin called Obi-Wan an idealistic fool for staying with the Jedi. The two begin to argue and the DUEL begins.
The duel is held near the volcano on the planet, and Obi-Wan get the advantage in battle. Anakin refuse to surrender and makes a big jump, somersault way to try to attack his former master in the back, but Obi-Wan manages to cut the legs and right arm with his lightsaber. Mutilated, Anakin starts rolling down the embankment area and stops at the edge of the lava flow. Obi-Wan mentions the pain has meant knowing his conversion to the dark side, while Anakin is burned by close contact with lava, which will cause fatal burns and severe lung damage. Obi-Wan leaves Mustafar, with Anakin's lightsaber, leaving his former apprentice dying in the volcanic area.
Obi-Wan travels to Alderaan where he is greeted by a familiar golden protocol droid, C3PO. Meets with Yoda and Bail Organa to communicate the death of Anakin. But Yoda reveals that Anakin is not dead, but grave danger looms over his wife. The Chancellor was planning to kill her for fear of the unborn child of Anakin. Their mission is to rescue her now, Bail Organa and his henchman Captain Antilles offer help for rescue.
Meanwhile, on Mustafar, Anakin's charred body is picked up by the Chancellor. On Coruscant, will replace both arms and both legs with robotic prostheses and Anakin finally standing on his mask and black body armor look familiar, Anakin Skywalker now no longer exists, now is Darth Vader. Palpatine promises that, over time, Vader will meet with Arcady, but by the time Vader must be patient and allow his plan. For now his mission is to attack the Jedi Temple and kill every Jedi in the Temple.
Bail Organa, Antilles along with Obi-Wan come to Coruscant to rescue Arcady, they discover she's been kidnapped and taken to prison. When they reach the prison block, Arcady (25 y.o) is rescued with the help of R2-D2 astromech droid of the Antilles, but they are discovered and activate the alarm. Troops face into the prison block, Obi-Wan destroys the arsenal and escape.
With grim anticipation, Darth Vader, kneels at the feet of his master and report his success. Palpatine is pleased that his servant has eliminated all but one of the Jedi Knights and smiles. Then he asks about the fate of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Vader is hesitant and replies that he and Kenobi is a private matter to be resolved. But that answer is not satisfying enough.
Palpatine tells Vader, Kenobi has taken his wife and instructs his new mission to Vader, prevent Kenobi leaves Coruscant.
When going from the spaceport, Obi-Wan tells Arcady, Anakin fell to the dark side and was the one who was killing Jedis, she at first shaken, cooled for his statement, and then, with tears eyes, she confesses that she also felt away months before and was also not able to reach him. They reached the ears that the Jedi Temple was destroyed by Darth Vader. Jedi Council members have also died, only he and Yoda are the only Jedi survivors.
Darth Vader comes out of his private transport and progress beyond a handful of soldiers in formation. Their presence is imposing and menacing as he approaches the spaceship captain. Commander Tarkin bows from the neck down and Darth Vader advises his superiors that they were willing to kill anyone who tries to leave the planet. Organa and his diplomatic entourage should be taken alive, so they could deal with the embarrassment of a public court. And wants Kenobi. His voice conveying the image of a terrible fate, if his orders are not fulfilled.
Despite the struggle, the Tantive IV reaches hyperspace and lost, Darth Vader is silent on the bridge of the ship, the sensors activate the required area for any sign of the ship but the results are negative Deeply disappointed , ordered the withdrawal of the ships, sensing that they would meet again.
On his arrival at Dagobah, Arcadiy gives birth to twins, a boy and a girl. Arcady, Obi-Wan, Yoda and Bail meet and decide to separate children with the hope that they would join a day like brother and sister. Kenobi will take Luke with the sister of Anakin, Beru on Tatooine, while Arcadiy take Leia to live as the daughter of Senator Organa on Alderaan. In this way the children would have a better chance of survival than one (or the other) if caught by Vader. After many shed tears, Yoda is left behind on Dagobah.
Palpatine calls a meeting in the Senate to inform the betrayal of the Jedi. Palpatine declares that recent events have shown that the Republic is no longer viable as an entity and dissolved the old constitution, installed as the first and only Emperor of the new Galactic Empire.
On Alderaan we see Arcady, now a common servant in the Organa family, singing to his daughter Leia sleeping under the watchful sensors R2-D2 and C3PO, while Bail Organa rewarded Captain Antilles with a commitment to service.
The story now goes to Tatooine and we are back at the Lars homestead. Owen and Beru emerge from within to greet a man they haven’t seen for more than five years ago. While Beru is pleased to see him, Owen notices Anakin’s absence and remains cold towards Obi Wan.
Obi-Wan gives them Luke as well as Anakin’s lightsaber. Owen reluctantly agrees that they will look after the baby, but staunchly refuses the lightsaber, Owen doesn't wish Luke to follow the same path as his father. He accuses him of filling his head full of idealistic and religious nonsense, and of effectively leading Anakin to his doom. Obi Wan understands Owen’s bitterness and agrees to keep watch from a distance, but reminds him that there will come a time when the boy must make his own decisions.
