STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time
Adywan i think what Ziz meant was the Imperial Fleet NOT the Rebel Fleet when he was talking about the "set your course for the Endor system". That was Vader he was having say that.

I sort of quite like that idea. Although Vader strolling past Piett and not saying anything and Piett realising he's not about to be choked is a great ending as it is.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
Ady, i have been following this thread and your work for a while now and i must say the work you've done and are still doing is amazing.

I just thought i'd add my two cents. I honestly don't think that the Emperor/Vader scene from ESB should be in ANH. It just doesn't fit.

I think that Gorilla's ideas for the reworking of the dialogue when you get round to ESB is probably the best way to go.

BUT i do like the idea of the Imperial Officer hologram as Vader approachs Coruscant/Imperial navel base/somewhere (BUT NOT Executer!) and i agree with its possible placement between Luke arriving triumphant back on Yavin 4 and the medal ceremony if that works.

Now if you have the conversation with Vader telling the officer that he'll tell the Emperor about Skywalker, then maybe with the ESB scene you could go with Gorilla's ideas but maybe keep the new dialogue when the Emperor tells Vader its the offspring of Anakin Skywalker and Vader says "How is that possible?" and the Emperor Saying "search your feelings ...etc...He could destroy us". and then with those two pieces we will have to assume that Vader never did talk to the emperor about Luke. That he had a possible motive of finding Luke first without the Emperor's knowledge and bringing the Emperor down together.

I think that would make a great addition to the way Vader is thinking and his relationship with the Emperor at that point.

Now if that doesn't seem to make sense or sit very well with everyone, how bout still adding the Imp Officer and Vader as has been suggested in ANH with Vader offering to tell the Emperor himself, and then in ESB when you do it go with all Gorilla's dialogue changes, Vader doesn't ask how its possible he just goes "Yes master" like in the original. That way we get the impression that they both knew about Luke but maybe haven't really discussed it. And there we still get an undertone that Vader wanted to find Luke first before the Emperor got involved. Especially ,as been pointed out already, he uses Skywalkers name at the very beginning of ESB when he's sending the probes everywhere.

Just a suggestion and i know i haven't explained myself enough probably but i hope you get the idea.

***The "Darth Editous" Episode IV DVD Info and Feedback Thread*** - a partially "de-specialed" DVD
Time
Hello again Darth Editous, now I know Im new here and like i said before you're work on this edit has been amazing but i did notice one thing when watching the film again...

...in Ben's hut as luke is about to get his father's lightsaber and Luke says "What Is It?" to Ben the hanging cloak/material whatever it is on the wall is there as Luke stands up BUT as he moves in front of it to get the lightsaber once he has moved past the wall THE CLOAK IS GONE! and it doesnt return until Ben finishes saying .."before the dark times, before the Empire".

Sorry to point out what is surely just a minor thing but seeing as how everyone on here is encouraged to discuss all aspects of these fan edits i thought I'd mention it.

Please don't take this as a negative comment, your efforts have produced a version of the film I can stand to watch over and over again.

Darth Editous, I'm new to these forums and i've just got hold of the NTSc version and i must say i LOVE what you've done with the film. Fantastic work. Can't wait to see your efforts on Empire.

Also just as an ask because i'm not sure if it's been linked here but could anyone tell me if there's a cover and label and if so where are they?

Thanks.
