The quality is a lot better than VHS but a little below the NTSC DVDs; all
additional scenes have optional english subtitles and the audio commentary
has been edited to fit the longer version; they even removed the line about
Homer walking across the screen in the final shot so it would make sense…

Also it is 25 FPS, but with a little work the scene is quite usable. Also
it explains why the mob suddently forgives Bart… Would you prefer the
entire episode (remuxed MKV/944 MB) or just the last 3 minutes? Do you want
the full english sub and the audio commentary? Where can I upload the
file for you?

This is an amazing project! I’ve been a collector of the Simpsons for years and
always wondered why such a classic show was never given a proper restauration;
especially in regards to the “line flickering” / “Klasky Cuspo” effect.
Regarding the “Telltale Head”, the german DVD has the complete scene as aired back in
1990. The only difference between these two versions, aside from Barts longer speech,
is Homer walking across the screen in the final shot before the credits - this is part
of the shorter version and is missing in the other. You could create both versions
separately or make it an “integral cut” with the longer speech and Homers walk combined.
I have the german DVD right here on the shelf. Would the longer version of the “Telltale
Head” be of any help to you?
