It’s worked well enough for me so far, but I guess you have a point.

Okay, well I’m doing anything with the sound channels.
A MacGuffin is an object the characters are trying to obtain.
Why him? I thought you were talking about Adywan?
If we meet the Whills, my life will be complete.
I’m no audio geek. Putting over a scene that wasn’t there originally is basically the limit of my abilities.
But out of curiosity, what would separating channels do?
To me, the worst worst worst CG in TPM has always been the plains on Naboo where the battle takes place. They’re literally just rolling grass with no features whatsoever, which is what makes them look so odd and unnatural. They’re begging for paths, desire lines, other foliage, buildings, rocks, rivers… just, detail.
It’s the Windows XP background.
Definitely not Jedha after what happened to it in RO. Also, filming locations mean nothing. Visually they’re all interchangeable, a fact proven by RotJ shooting its Tatooine scenes in California.
My money’s on a new planet or Jakku, but Tatooine’s certainly possible.
Could you explain to me why you kept the logo golden? If the goal here is consistency with the later films, shouldn’t it be silver?
Yes, of course.
These edits are basically the opposite of Anjohan’s Revisited series, where instead of making the earlier films dark like the later ones, I make the later films bright like the earlier ones. For example, the golden logo is maintained throughout. There is also a greater degree of musical continuity, with many of Williams’ themes carrying over to later films.
Can something be done to totally overhaul Han’s death? In the movie, he just walks into it when it’s bloody obvious he’s gonna die, and Kylo has no reason to kill him beyond being the villain and Han being a mentor figure.
TFA has tropes played straight, with objects intact. TLJ deconstructed tropes and the objects representing them (the saber and the helmet. Now IX is reconstructing the tropes and objects. Interesting visual metaphors.
I actually really hate Mace’s saber being purple, and to a lesser extent Jedi having green and blue instead of just blue. It just comes off as an extremely awkward middle ground between uniform and diverse. A lone purple just further exasperates this point.
Nice! Download?
A while ago I had a dream I was posting something here, and when I woke I was like, yeah, that’s a good idea I should post, but now I’ve forgotten what it was.
That feels very complete in terms of the goal of Starkiller not being a weapon. But with that goal in mind, I still feel like we need to feel the threat of the First Order (ideally, IMO, juxtaposed with Kylo killing Han), and see some largescale destruction they cause such as the earlier idea to have a dreadnought assault, which would necessitate VFX.
That’s where the dreadnoughts come in. Have one of them destroy Hosnian. Not the whole system, but lay waste to the city planet Jedha style.
Definitely the latter, if any. Really, though, it makes me think of grey aliens.
Oh right, of course!
I haven’t seen either, but I think it would make sense to turn K9 and Company into an episode of the Sarah-Jane Adventures.
If Vader can be redeemed, just about anyone can be.
Here’s a Scott Pilgrim rescore. I’m putting it here cuz I don’t currently have any plans to make a full edit.
Lucasfilm shouldn’t make Episode X though. The saga will be beyond complete. If they really want more episodes that badly, they should make a new saga, starting at Episode I.
I think that Reylo can and should happen, but it will/would be up to Kylo. He clearly doesn’t know what he wants, and I think that could lead to him running back to Rey.
I don’t think Rey ever had time or a safe place to explore dating on Jakku, (there’s no evidence she ever even had a casual friend) so her discomfort with seeing Ben shirtless made sense to me. The movies would likely never broach the subject, but her fighting skills are as much about keeping lecherous scavengers at bay as it is daily survival on a hostile planet.
So do you guys think she ever had an…unfortunate encounter?
