OK, I was attempting to do this with the holiday special. I had noticed on the AOTC dvd that the clip appeared in this "widescreen" format. Also, it seems the holiday special cartoon in the regular special is sort of squeezed together. I have been able to view the special in this format, but not save it this way.

You never know what can happen under people like George W. Bush and Dick "Haliburton" Cheney.

This situation in the US has proved one major point: in times of poverty, the US is no different than any third world country. People act the same, in going nuts and looting, killing. It's all the same throughout all the world. Only now it has hit a group of people not used to these things. Time for a wakeup call!

I mean, I heard a few days ago of a man shooting and killing a woman over some gas for his car!!!!!!!!!

Info for... the Ewok films: 'Battle For Endor' and 'Caravan Of Courage'...

I, as well would like to see these films given the fan-preservation effort. They are many times overlooked and put down by up-tight star wars fans. The DVD release was a rushed one, for all DVD's involved in the November 2004 release. I have never seen any copies but the DVD release, due to the fact that I couldn't find them anywhere. Kind of like the holiday special, I had heard of it, but couldnt find it. I had actually put up a list of changes Lucas made to the films for the various dvd, laserdisc, and VHS releases over the years, but no one seemed interested at the time. A preservation would be great, yet another time-worthy contribution to OT.com!

I have the trailer for COC, it's not the greatest quality, I downloaded it from some nastalgia site a while back. I can upload it if you are interested. Also, someone else asked a while back for the original TV opening for COC, and the file was uploaded. I have that as well.

Idea: an actual 12-hour Star Wars movie... on HD-DVD
Time
I actually like the prequels and the special editions. I have grown up with both trilogies (I was 10 in 1999). I was forced to like both trilogies, and accept both as good. I have never seen the original versions of the films, or the original trilogy in theaters (even the SE). I like and endorse the changes he has made (well except for the greedo shooting first change), and will make. In fact I believe they improve the films. However, I do wish to see the original version on DVD, in respect for their huge impact on the world.
