Help: looking for... MOSW/SPFX/From Star Wars to Jedi/Empire of Dreams
Time

Thanks everyone for the very helpful responses. I’d previously found the FSWTJ ‘HD recreation’ on YouTube and watched it the other night, was pretty good. I was hoping maybe somewhere there was a higher res version of all the non-film parts of it, but it’s definitely watchable, and nice to have the HD Despecialised clips in it. I had not run across the FSWTJ video on the StarWars.com site or their official YouTube channels (and didn’t even think to search), so thanks for those as well. Nice to have the ‘original’, even if it’s visually inferior to Ben Phillips’s HD version.

As for the 720p YouTube links to the original three ‘Making of’ documentaries, those are exactly what I was hoping for, thanks! I’d only come across 480p versions on YouTube, these are much better. Getting the BluRay disks that contain them might be an option at some point, but I don’t have access to a BluRay player, so a bit of a problem. 720p is probably enough for me now. Will have a look out for the Empire of Dreams DVD.

Thanks again to all, most helpful.

Help: looking for... MOSW/SPFX/From Star Wars to Jedi/Empire of Dreams

I’m new to this forum, so this might be a naive question, but I have looked around quite a bit and can’t quite figure this out. I’m looking for decent copies (e.g. 720p would suffice) of The Making of Star Wars, SP FX: The Empire Strikes Back, From Star Wars to Jedi, and Empire of Dreams. From what I understand on these forums, the best versions of the first two are ones put together by EditDroid. However, I can’t figure out how to locate these, or the other two, or if this information still holds (posts are quite old now). Is there a guide to finding the best versions of these documentaries? I have searched and browsed around here but haven’t found anything yet. Ideally I was hoping for something like the guide to the Despecialised Editions! Sorry if this is the wrong place/question/etc., please just kindly correct me. Thanks for any help.
