STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

Everything is spotless all around. So it pains me to even mention the one thing. When Yoda says to Luke, “Judge be by my size, do you?” His eyes turn towards Luke now and its a little off putting, I noticed how unconvincing the eyes looked right away. I waited 8 years for this edit Adywan, and its just gorgeous.

Star Wars Episode II: The Approaching Storm (Released)

I find that in the first ten minutes of this edit there are some minor issues. At the beginning of the movie Cordé still has Padme’s voice during the ship’s approach. Cordé says she is sorry, but she did her job well by being her decoy, so there is no reason for her to be sorry. The establishing shot before the senate scene is the wrong building, Natalie’s acting is terrible in the senate sequence. You will always be that little boy on Tatooine is a terrible line of dialogue.

If I could give one criticism to this edit is the abruptness of the scene of Yoda telling Obi-Wan that Anakin is consumed by Darth Vader into Obi-Wan and Padme on her veranda. I think adding in the Obi-Wan telling Yoda he doesn’t know where to look, and Yoda telling him to use his feelings to find him is a better transition, and less abrupt.

No, don’t do that. You can speak your mind!

Back in 2006, I edited the DVD version of the pod race to music, and this became the template that I closely followed for COD. I used that portion of the deleted scene, and so I had to use it again to recreate my prior work.

Well of all the things you changed, those three things I mentioned are the only things I took issue with. The two lines of dialogue from Episode 2 and the inclusion of the clean up droids during the pod race. Other than that your three films make me very happy.

Perhaps they just can’t get rid of him because he insists on being his “humble servant” for having saved his life.

Oh yes of course.

At the beginning of the podrace there are scenes with the cleanup droids, it does not add anything to the sequence, why were those scene added in?

Don’t worry I’m done, I won’t be critical in regards to these edits anymore.

JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit: turning a mediocre trilogy into one really good film (Released)

I love this edit, but the scene with two by two of the company meeting Beorn needs to be in this. Azog should be all in leading up to his reveal, or just at the end of the film. Showing Kili hurt and why the other company chose to stay behind so he could heal could of been left in. He just got better later on. The barrel sequence should of been cut. The Smaug and company chasing sequence should have been left out.

Films are an art and therefore film maker should be first and foremost an artist. A true artist follows his/her vision with disregard to popularity and people's tastes. A film maker who makes stuff in a way so that people will like it is not an artist but a salesman or an attention whore.

So, seeing as Lucas cut down on Jar Jar's screentime with each prequel as a result of negative public opinion on the character, does that make him an artist or a salesman?

I actually spoke to Ahmed Best about this, he actually said scenes of Jar Jar were shot for Episode 3. His explanation as to why the scenes were cut was because George thought the scenes took away from the central focus of the movie which was about Anakin.
