STAR WARS: EP VI -RETURN OF THE JEDI "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - ** PRODUCTION HAS NOW RESTARTED **
Time

This is it, the finale day for the Return of the Jedi: Revisited week long $1,000 challenge. Send Adywan a donation along with a note that it’s part of the challenge, and I will match all donations up to $1,000.

As a kid, I spent an inconceivable amount of time watching Star Wars, playing Star Wars, and talking about Star Wars. I’m old enough to remember the daunting five year wait it took for Star Wars to go from screen to HBO. I’ve seen the original trilogy 100s of times, so I really appreciate what Adywan has done. He’s taken something that’s old and that I love and made it new again. For the rest of my life I expect Adywan’s Revisited will be my definitive version of these films. With all the members here, and Adywan’s friends on Facebook, I’ll be disappointed if we don’t reach the $1000 target, especially after the great first day we had. Some have done their part and more, but there are clearly others who enjoy and follow the Revisited Project, but are willing to just sit on their hands. There is a note on Facebook mentioning that if everyone who looked at the post about donating sent in only $1, he’d have raised over $15,000.

This is the finale day where $5 can = $10 or $10 can = $20.

I trust Adywan, but he may receive donations from people who know nothing about the challenge. I don’t want to pay up on those donations. I am willing to match up to $1000-but only for the challenge donations.

I did get a reply from Adywan and doubleofive before I posted the challenge. If either had any questions or reservations I would have waited to post.

I get it.
That’s why I notified Adywan and doubleofive last night that I intended to do this. This username was created for just for this challenge. They both know my legitimate user account. I have been an active participant on this site for nearly 5 years and I would expect that you might even recognize my usual user name. I was also one that helped Adywan out when his camera broke a while back (over $800).

The only thing I can do with the info in a Paypal receipt is put money in your account. Though if anyone feels there is any sensitive info on the receipt then black it out. I just need the date and the amount. Or if anyone has another suggestion for proof on paid donations feel free to speak up.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

The Return of the Jedi: Revisited $1000 challenge begins now.

The project has only just begun, and there are already hundreds requests from numerous people specifying what they want to see in Return of the Jedi: Revisited. Adywan and his crew sacrifice their time for the Revisited projects, learning skills and doing things most are unable or unwilling to do just to create a fan edit of someone else’s movie. There are a lot of people enjoying Adywan’s meticulous work on Star Wars & Empire, I know I have. He is doing this project not just for his own love of Star Wars, but to share his ambitious vision of these films with fans around the world. Now it’s time for Return of the Jedi to get its own Revisited treatment, and cash is needed to make it happen. With all his friends on Facebook and all the members here, people constantly throwing in their two cents and critiquing his work, it’s surprising that the project is now having so much trouble raising funds. It’s a shame that there are some who feel entitled to have regular requests and opinions on this project, but have no intention of ever donating to contribute. I know there are some who truly cannot afford to donate. But if you can, at least donate the price of a movie ticket. However, considering what you gain from Adywan’s dedication to this project, the price of an average Blu-ray would be much more appropriate.

$5, $10, $15 or $100, make any donation to Return of the Jedi: Revisited today through Sunday (Monday, Nov. 6th through Nov. 12th) and I will match all donations up to $1,000.

For your donation to be matched, you must make a note to Adywan when you make your donation that it is part of the $1,000 challenge.

Let’s get this started.
