While the file dates might not give the definitive answer (especially if they were RARed prior to posting), still they might provide a clue.

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

It was posted within a week or two of the original torrent as the Mysterious Mysteries version before the EditDroid name was even heard of.

It's been months ago. I doubt it would be on even the premium servers anymore. That's why I was requesting the entire set again. I ask on the newsgroup too, but no one ever posts it. *shrug* People have been posting other things trying to get their request of the improved Holiday Special as well, but no one has posted that for a long while either.

Segaflip, you made me break down and learn usenet! Thanks for all the postings. I got an unlimited account at giganews and am happily using Unison on OS X. Everything works perfectly and I average 550 KB/sec downloads, about 10 times faster than an average torrent for me! I downloaded the EpIV extras in 2.5 hours. If anyone thinks usenet is too hard, it's not and is totally worth it. Just get a premium account and don't even think about using your ISP's servers.

You can go about your business. Move along, move along.

Looking forward to seeing what you have done with the Alec Guinness Biography.

If this is SF003 and we have only seen your Lightsaber Montage, what is your other production??? Will there be a Segaflip release thread???

Anyhow, for the "techies" out there, the Alec Guinness Biography was broadcast several times during May in the UK (PAL) on the Biography Channel, which broadcasts on the SKY Digital system. The recording was done by a LITEON LVW-5005 in 2 hour record mode.

Rikter has seen another recording I did using exactly the same settings and was quite impressed by the quality.

I dont know if I will have a Segaflip release thread, I dont have tv so I dont capture anything. But I will think about it.

I counted Lightsaber Montage as SF002, and then I have a dvd that I never released which has AFIs Tribute to George plus THX demo - WOW. I could release it if anyone would like it. Now that I think about it I might have another dvd that I made somewhere that I called The Revenge will be Televised Volume 1.5 to go along with the one that was upload to a.b.starwars awhile ago. So my releases are:
SF000 - The Revenge will be Televised Vol. 1.5
SF001 - AFI's Tribute to George Lucas
SF002 - Lightsaber Montage
SF003 - Biography Channel's: Sir Alec Guinness

hey segaflip just wanted to let you know that the O-OT "Pan & Scan"set,the "Definitive Collection"set and my Blade Runner"Criterion"is headed out to you tomorrow(friday)afternoon,let me know when you recieve them and if there are any problems or errors.
The Jedi/Feta SE set will probably be another week or two,hopefully less.

Thank you SO much for taking the initiative and posting these many, many, Star Wars discs to the groups for all of us with quick connections and premium accounts to dl (I really hate Torrenting). You are now in the ranks of Darth Osar, Starkiller, and Darth Mallwalker - congrats and mad props to you, my friend. I can't wait to see all the new goodies you'll be adding to a.b.starwars!!! It's good-hearted people like you that make all these rare discs available to those of us not fortunate enough to already own them. I'm hoping to release this eventually. I recorded it from Sky Digital on XP mode on my Panny DVD recorder. I've also got the Arena special and Parkinson interview broadcast around the same time.

Just aheads up for the weeks to come:
I should be getting in Babyhum's re-release 1-4 and dark_jedi's O-OT Pan and Scan Trilogy Set and his SW Trilogy "Definitive Collection"Set, and also dark_jedi's Blade Runner "Criterion" dvd this week. When I get them expect them to hit a.b.starwars one right after another! So this is a warning that everyone better have room on their hard drives for this stuff. I will be posting everything with 15% pars, and do to how much I will be posting I will not be able to keep this stuff on my hd for long. I plan on having one day in between sets for fills if need be, so request fast. I can currently post about 3 dvds in two days just to give you an idea on how fast they will becoming,I hope. I am expecting to start uploading something on aug 25 or 26. I will update my posting dates when the sets come in, they will not be posted before the farsight set is done!

I would like to post this stuff alternating between creators, something like this:

Baby Hum 1-2 (Days 1-2)
Day off (fills)
Dark Jedi Pan and Scan (Days 2-3)
Day off (fills)
Baby Hum 3-4 (Days 1-2)
Day off (fills)
Dark Jedi Definitive Collection (Days 2-3)
Day off (fills)
Dark Jedi Blade Runner (1 Day) (posted to a.b.dvd)

If no fills are needed, (Allah willing), the post may come faster!

Well then... Tonight I subscribed and experience usenet for the first time, and my god, is it great.

Segaflip, thank you SO much for posting the DVDs, it's amazing how fast I can get them, heh.

Now then... Any chance I could talk someone around here into reposting the Lightsaber Montage?
