That is awesome!!!
There are a bunch of other birds there that do R2 impressions, The Imperial March, etc... Worth browsing around. :)
I can't believe there is a whole category of video of "birds singing various Star Wars sounds/music".
The Secret History of Star Wars -- now available on Amazon.com!
"When George went back and put new creatures into the original Star Wars, I find that disturbing. It’s a revision of history. That bothers me."
--James Cameron, Entertainment Weekly, April 2010
R2 is such a natural fit for them. :)
Ridiculous dance number:

Monkey ESB :)
I saw a TON of those old TBS monkey movies back then, but I don't think I saw ESB before. :) The second one when he's swinging the saber around is hilarious!
This one is just odd.
VADER!? WHERE THE HELL IS MY MOCHA LATTE? -Palpy on a very bad day.

Nice, how'd you come across this? Like his line about the next movie being another adventure with the same characters, not necessarily a sequel.
I found it in the forum of this site, http://www.kurtzjoinerarchive.com/index.html
a nice newly launched site that may be quite interesting to keep an eye on. I love these unfiltered vintage SW interviews, I had never seen that one before so I thought I would post it, glad you liked it.

Can't get it to load. Would no doubt be great for my Star Wars Begins project. I've been trawling for more Kurtz interviews. Anyone able to rip the audio?

on that Carolyn Jackson file, in the coding is mention of "2009_01951_480x360.flv" but can't figure out where it resides. Something to do with: rtmp://texasarchive.streamguys.org/sgvodstreaming

Ok, how many people laughed their butts off and how many said "Yes. YES. Can it be done?" Can't wait to show this to my wife tonight. (She hasn't been able to figure out why I've started watching SW or ESB about once a day all of a sudden.)

A nice old visual-effects documentary, including great interviews with John Dykstra, Richard Edlund and matte-artist Harrison Ellenshaw

(wish i knew about this a few months ago, would have been part of the Ultimate Experience...)
The above mentioned doc, doesn't seem like a broadcast show, lacking a title sequence and credits, could this be a 'show reel' for an FX department, or maybe a short which aired in a theme park? or maybe it was for broadcast but just a working version.... anyone recognize the host, might be in his IMDB.
none, that was cool and creepy at the same time.

OMG I love this! George didn't think there was any future in dead Han toys :-D
And also the article: the final film of the first trilogy, "Return of the Jedi"
No episode VI or the second trilogy or whatever Lucas calls it now.
Well, he's wrong about the 'interesting' part, obviously, but the dead Han toys thing is great! :D
