LuckyGungan2001 what’s your avatar pic from?

My current one? It’s from a film I watched recently called Attack the Block, where the secondary antagonist gets his nose bitten off. It was a great film, I would highly recommend it. My previous avater was the Predalien from Aliens vs Predator: Requiem, which, apart from the design of the Predalien, is awful, and I wouldn’t make anyone watch it.

Not enough people read the EU.

That’s the one I see, or Attack the Block is waaay different than I imagined.

Thats weird. I wonder why my new avatar isn’t showing.

It’s a caching issue.
In Chrome (similar for other browsers, I’m sure) hit F12, then F1, then click “Disable cache (while DevTools is open)”, and refresh the page. After that, close the DevTools and you’re golden.

I just did shift+refresh and that did the trick. 😃

I think most of the ones mentioned here were some great work but for me, Darth Awesome’s 3-in-1 ‘The Empire Begins’ is the one. It sounds like I dislike the prequels more than some on this thread, though so I really don’t have much interest in sitting through three of them again. ‘The Empire Begins’ is pretty good and I actually like revisiting it.

NOT A REAL NINJA (THOUGH DID TAKE AN AIKIDO LESSON ONCE SO WATCH THE F#%$ OUT)

As far as 3-in-1’s go this one is done really well but it just cuts too much for my liking, and ends up being too long in runtime for a single SW film.
The only way I’d watch The Empire Begins again is if I were wanting to have a marathon but was with people who, like you, really didn’t want to watch the prequels.
Otherwise I’d definitely stick to Q2’s (Thunderclap) The Fall of the Jedi trilogy for I-VI or Hal 9000’s prequel trilogy for IV, V, II, III, VI.
Q2’s is the only cut of TPM I’ll watch now.

I’ve changed my mind. I’m watching Frink’s Ridiculous Menace and it is flawless.

For The Phantom Menace I stick with a self-edited mash up of Hal’s and Q2’s. I think Hal has some good elements but overall left too much Jarjar for my liking. For Episode 2, Hal’s work on the romance impressed me a lot and I stick to his edit there. Then when it comes to episode 3 I feel like all the way up until Padme starts giving birth Hal accomplishes a masterpiece with labyrinth of evil. He sets up such a subtle and tragic fall of anakin. But I have to admit I prefer the irony of padme dying so I use L8wtrs ending with the rest of Hal’s edit for my personal edit. I do appreciate all the hard work the fan editors put in and am currently enjoying Frinks TPM

I am more curious about why people absolutely adore L8wtrs episode 3 edit though as their favorite. I appreciate his work and find it to be a very exceptional edit (best quality deleted scenes Iv ever seen) but there are a lot of sloppy cuts and he keeps the balcony scene and the apartment scene. Just curious

He’s got a unique structure that I think works better than another edit I’ve seen of the film. There’s a V2 coming out soon that will likely fix any less than stellar cuts (of which there aren’t very many). Th balcony scene is kept because it’s the only time in the movie we get to see Anakin and Padme happy together. Not sure what apartment scene you’re talking about.

The appartment scene is, I believe, the scene that comes just after the second nightmare (“i’m not the Jedi I should be”).
