tmpgenc or womble?

I am trying to decide between womble and tmpgenc as a mpeg editor. Which do you prefer? Is one better than the other?

I haven't used it for years but you can actually edit Mpeg2 with tmpgenc now?

Edit with womble. Encode 5.1 mix with womble. Encode the womble video via frame serving though TMPGenc. Remux. Enjoy.

TMPGEnc MPEG editor allows MPEG2 editing with frame accuracy. MPEG2 files with same characteristics can be joined. Re-encoding generally only occurs at cut/join points.
