I saw an E True Hollywood Story on him (or some such actor profile show) and he said he doesn't want to be pigeonholed as the dumbass. That's why he went after Punk'd so hardcore and is probably the reason why he did Butterfly Effect. I think playing Kelso pigeonholed him enough. He only drove nails into the coffin with Dude. He's holed already. No denying it.

I had no desire to see that movie as, apparently, most of the US did seeing as how it stayed in theaters only about two weeks.

i just saw TBE and i found that it was ok. it was entertaining was by far not a bad movie.

and ill say this much as well, kucher did a good job, a really good job, a better job then any one here or i ever gave him a chance of doing. it was an oscar acting job, but he pulled it off, i now cant think of him as the dude from where's my car. he is now the guy from the butterfly effect. i commend him from that.

and that enough about kucher.

What's even more curious, Shimraa, is if you even read your own thread. If you did, you would have seen that I was not the first to mention Kutcher. Read, boy. Read.

And, no, I didn't read the essays because Chaos Theory does not interest me. I've read about it before and it bores me. Back when Jurassic Park came out and Goldblum's character kept going on about Chaos Theory. I read some stuff then and it was just plain weird.

The Butterfly Effect a.k.a Dude, Where's My Life?
Seriously, we've benn running the movie for almost a week and I have had absolutely NO desire to peek in on it. I'd rather watch Torque, and that's saying something.

I don't think Butterfly is a chick flick. It's a suspense flick about a guy who has memory lapses regarding his past, but has extensive journals detailing what happened during those periods in his life; but he refuses to read them. One day in college he starts to read the journals and they transport him back to these events. He decides that what he did was so horrible that he wants to change little bits to make his future life better and, as would be expected, it just gets worse. That and he just never stops reading the journal and, thus, travelling back in time.

I heard a review on the radio this morning.
