I think the BD25 option sounds great (as a BDMV file, correct?) and like -1 said I am curious to see how folks will embrace harmy's BD25 release. I'm all in favor of this because although I do not yet have a blu-ray burner, I'm confident my blu-ray program (or other video programs) on my computer will be able to play the file. That said, I hope other fans feel similarly because I can't imagine wanting to experience this in anything less than 1080p (though I'm sure a DVD-9 would still blow GOUT away).
Also, -1. What kind of work have you done with authoring/preparing to author the disc (menus, etc.), I'm mostly curious as to what style menu you're going for (personally I prefer something simple and classy, like darkjedi's V3 dvds).
Thanks again.
we haven't gotten to that point yet.
but it will be pretty minimalistic, since there's
not really a whole lot of options besides -> play,
a trailer, and couple of audio options..

I'm probably out of line, but I would put a vote for DTS-HD Master Audio as a preference for the audio, as I sadly don't have the proper hardware to listen to lpcm (my hardware only play that as stereo and not as surround).
It's just too cool that you are open to the idea of others adding to this project once it's released and I hope I can find someone who can add Danish subtitles to it and has a BR burner, so I can enjoy this wonderful project with friends and family like we should all really have been able to do with the official releases - the original unaltered movies.
well, i would think that all the projects on this board
are a community effort. there's too many resources
here that need to be used. and as long as there is
a standard (like GOUT) that can be used, it's easy
to synchronize them.
we are proposing a new improved standard, that's close, but
will probably not quite match that. so work will have to be
done, like on all the other soundtracks, subtitles, and
dubs to integrate them.
fortunately, there's a lot of hard working and competent
people that are donating their time and effort to do it,
so we don't have to do all that work by ourselves.
yeah, we're taking on a lot to do.
but the results and the rewards are worth it.
