Does your one have a team negative 1 intro message? If so the version you have is version 1, which does not include the mono mix. If you want mono you have to download version 1.6. Also do not post direct links to projects, it is against the rules of the forum.

I’m new to this forum. I’ve recently discovered the Star Wars Silver Screen Edition. Wow is was so nice to see the movie like it was back in the 1970s movies theaters. I was completely blown away at how well it was remastered.

I have version 1.0 of Team Negative1 Silver Screen Edition, but can’t seem to find the newest version 1.6. Any ideas where I can get it?

Gave up trying to get a MySpleen invite but managed to get both SSE editions after a lot of hunting and effort. Was totally worth it, what a joy to watch the film again as I remembered it as a young kid. Thank you so much to everyone involved, absolute legends!

It’s the first thing I found when searching for Silver Screen Edition on tehparadox…

The version uploaded on the paradoxical site is sadly the slightly corrupted one (with 11 bytes wrong out of 37GB!). I discovered this by comparing the SHA-1 checksum with that listed on page 153 of this thread. It can easily be fixed by “force checking” against the torrent on the spleen. I don’t know whether or not the slightly corrupted version can be burned and played successfully on a standalone Bluray player. Perhaps it can, and those 11 bytes don’t matter in the slightest?

Well freaking bummer. I failed in my attempt to ave the internet from two versions of the same file that don’t have the same checksum. I’m pretty sure the differences won’t affect its usability but I could be wrong. I guess whoever posted that grabbed the “corrupt” version.

Thanks everyone for your help in getting SSE 1.6. Nice work to everyone who took the time to master this film. I’m blown away by how much improvement was done between the versions and how well the natural coloring looks over the DVD and Blu Ray releases.

I’m noticing some skips in the mono mix. Was it like that in the theatrical release, or is it just because of age?

Hey, I grabbed a download labeled as ‘1.6’ and it has the 1.6 info file, but the end credits still refer to it as ‘1.5.’ Is this just a mistake/omission present on every copy or do I have an older version?
