anyone watch this show. i think its great but i know alot of stargate fans hate it for its darkness. where is everyone at with it?
I could not get passed the 3rd episode. I had no problem with it being dark. What I did have a problem with was how it was just a blatant mash-up of formulas working for other shows. I found nothing original nor captivating about the plot devices, or the shows characters.

Same, I tune in from time to time but it's just not compelling. A bit of a shame, at least SG1 used to be a bit of fun.
Some shows take a while to hit their stride so I'll keep an eye on it jsut in case.
I would like to add that I felt (and still feel) the exact same way about Star Trek Enterprise. It's not a horrible show, just has nothing to offer me. I'm 44, so that might have something to do with my "seen that, been there" attitude.

It's not terrible, but its not very good either. My wife and I watch it regularly though. I need more Stargates in my "Stargate", they don't use it often enough.

No, I like SG-1 and Atlantis, but I like Universe a lot more.
I didn't get into it because it was gone long before I even knew it was one but SG1 and Atlantis are two of my favorite series of all time.
They are not lame at all.
