And please should we feel sorry for a kid that wasn't popular before to get some popularity? He's probably at some college now using that line of..."This star Wars kid has became a Star Wars Man and come feel my Force, and you know I know how to wield a saber."

Well maybe he's getting girls. Maybe not, he definitely wasn't before. He's got an IPod now and that good. That'd makea great I POD commercial with the Star Wars Kid rocking out to techno doing the swordplay. Sweet.

16 years I wait and this is what I get???

You're right, they should put him in an iPod ad. And I'm glad that he has his iPod now, because that makes everything better. I found a petition somewhere that was trying to get him a cameo in Episode III, but since only reshoots are left, I'll doubt we see him, which is a damned shame, because it might have suggested that Lucas at least marginally cares about the fans.

yeah , I heard about the petition too, perhaps i should've signed it, it would have been a lot more interesting seeing the STARWARS kid going nuts with a lightsaber, than members of N-sync. although i did hear that he suffered a lot of emotional problems after the video became so popular, sometimes an ipod just doesn't cut it.

Yeah I heard he had to quit his school and he went into therapy, that's sad. I thought he was cool... And I loved the matrix reloaded version of star wars kid, so funny.

I feel very sorry for him, yet I can't help but laugh and shake my head at the videos. I'm starting to think that, instead of an iPod, he should've been given sword-fighting lessons so that he could track down the kids at his school who took advantage of him and beat the shit out of them. Of course, depending on the source, the students who took the video tape and put it on Kazaa were his friends just playing a joke on him or simply students at the school trying to harass him. So who knows?

Has anyone heard of Bubb Rubb? He's another of those internet phenomenons, though not as big as the Star Wars Kid.

Ooh, I remember that idiotic petition. I'd rather have that infamous Nonsync cameo in Episode II than a scene with this guy in Episode III. Hell, I'd even rather see cameos by the McCallum family or Christensen inserted over Sebastian Shaw than... oh, right.

By the way, the only thing that screams louder "It's just a movie you're watching!" than stupid cameos is product placement. It's a good thing Georgie has enough not to have to do *that*!
