The Wal-Mart $6.88 Bin: What Bargains Have You Found? — Page 2

I've gotten Blade Runner out of the bin. It was the directors Cut i hadn't seen so I just bought it. I loved the original and this one was just plain better. Harrison Ford is awesome in it.

Of course with a good purchase comes a bad. That one being Hercules In New York. Now i was expecting nothing (to a negative degree)from this movie, just a lame Arnold move (his first) but what I got was THE single worst movie ever. The scenes on mount olympus were shot in Central Park and you can hear cars and horns and things. And Pretzy......fuck Pretzy....stay away from this movie.

Hey look, a bear!

Theatrical; the director's cut ending is on it as a bonus feature.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

I saw the Boomstick Edition for 13 dollars, is it worth spending the extra bucks on?

Does anybody know a good place to buy used dvds online (other than Ebay and amazon)? Basically what I'm looking for is "Raiders of the Lost Ark" but I don't really want the other two, so I thought I could by it used online somewhere for 15 beans or something. Any ideas?

I went into Target today, and actually saw a DVD of TPM. Since I didn't have a copy already (only for research - not for enjoyment), I went ahead and picked it up.

So much for being "discontinued".

I've not either, but there have been times when I've needed to verify something about the film.

Besides, it was $14.99. They are going for 3-4 times that much on E-Bay.

It was rereleased officially on Tuesday, March 22. Both TPM and AOTC were rereleased along with the release of the Clone Wars animated series.

Man, all this Army of Darkness talk (along with Sean Wookie's av) got me inspired to crack out the old boomstick edition. I've watched it three times in the last two days! Sorry but I just thought I'd share.

LOL....yeah. I recently found out it was rereleased. Well, at least I got it at a cheaper price. I always saw it for $25 or more bucks.
