Let's see.... the most powerful, evil Sith Lord has twin babies taken from him. In an attempt to hide the children, they ship one off to the Sith Lord's home planet and also let him stay with known relatives of the Sith Lord!? On top of that, the child takes the surname of this evil Lord.......

According to Ben, he hadn't been called Obiwan since "long before" Luke was even born, so if that makes no sense then why do we care?
