Where did you learn your life lessons from? For me it was John Lennon.

I'd say my parents mostly, then re-enforced by most authority figures in my life (teachers, older relatives)...that and my own form of common sense.

Hey look, a bear!

From the teachings of our lord Jesus Christ.

Mostly my mom, but some out of life itself. I have no idea why I have such values and morals, growing up in the environment I did.
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

My mom, my church, and my own deductions, I suppose.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Let's see...
Parents
5 years of catholic school
All my life attending Catholic church
The common sense that is no longer so common

I suppose some of what I have is from myself as well. I believe both my parents are against the death penalty, yet I am not only in favor, but I think it needs to be faster (no 25-30 years waiting on Death Row) and more public (if only 20 people really witness it, there is significantly less power to it as a deterent, which I believe it was originally intended to be).

Church plus a whole lotta trial and error.

John Lennon was a good help. Others, too. Ghandi, MLK, lots of inspiring people.

But I was raised well by my folks, and frankly believe most of morals are innate to the soul I came in with.

Life experience, and trying like hell not to be like my father, which I guess falls under life experience.

John Lennon was a very weak philosopher if you ask me. He was a good composer of music however.

I have always been my own primary teacher since I don't fully trust anything if I can't figure it out in my own way. The pursuit of truth is my life goal. After that, I respect the lessons found in the Bible and the logic of Solomon and the Apostle Paul the most by far.

Tv, I watched A LOT of Mister Rogers Neighborhood and I loved it. I was amazed as a kid by the power of imagination and story telling so this show worked for me. They were just puppets but they had such well defined characters and gosh I loved how he had the first flat screen tv. That was cool... They just don't make tv shows like Mister Rogers anymore. Most tv is about tragically scarred people and gives a depressing outlook on everything... but not Rogers. His show was about enjoying life, having fun, and happiness, kindness, friendship, and even peace as well.... Wow do we need some of that nowadays. I watched some blues clues once and it was too silly and stupid.

yeah, well I learned much about morals from that man. RIP Fred Rogers.

Other than that, I'd say life. It's tougher than I expected... or anticapated. Much tougher. I trust I'll figure it out if I live long enough.
