in a Galaxy somewhere they are showing the originals ...

I just hope somewhere in the Galaxy far far far away, somehow original versions of the SW still exist. I hope the AFI or Library of Congress have decent archival copies....I vaguely remember that all three originals were specially printed on, then new, Kodak stock designed to have better archiving properties.

But I fear GL will have pulled all copies to ensure they never see the light of day!!!

...and g'day to all on this board from Australia ....the force hit here on 24/10/77 .....in 70mm and 6 track ...woooooow!!!

That's what you get for replying before allowing the post to soak in fully.

The originals were put onto a computer/computers to make the '97 editions and the '04 editions...my theory is that they are on a computer somewhere at Lucasfilm Ltd.....

I wonder what version the guys at LucasFilm watch. Like, are they allowed to watch the OTR whenever they want, or does Lucas have a special password so that the only version they can watch is the '97 or '04 version?

Haha, man Lucas is such a weiner.
