I told you it would turn great.
The Highlander Blu-ray looks reasonably good, with far better colors than the DVD.

Malkovich Malkovich? Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich, Malkovich Malkovich....
Highlander is a very watchable little film (much like The Terminator) it's entertaining has story integrity and it should have been left on its own without any sequels.
The casting joke is laid on a bit thick with the French Highlander and the Scottish Spanish Egyptian but that's a minor quibble.
With the inferior sequels out there it inspired a surprising watchable television series (something else in common with The Terminator).
It's more historically accurate and visually arresting than Braveheart and much more entertaining that Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves.

The movie does indeed have a nice feeling of 'historiocity' but one thing has always bugged me.
WTF is Kurrgan's helmet supposed to be? Where did he fight a snake big enough to have a skull like that? Is he from Conan-world?
