HELP NEEDED! Can't burn Harmy's ESB + ROTJ to BR disc!

Hello! I desperately need assistance.

I easily downloaded Star Wars 2.7 and burned to blu ray disc, but the other 2 films are set out differently and won’t work after I burn the folder to a BR disc. Could I please have some help? I’ve followed the instructions but that seems to only work for the first film.

Did you download the avchd versions?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, all AVCHD versions from the Ultimate Introductory Guide. Versions 2.7, 2.0, & 2.5

I was able to successfully rip Star Wars v2.7 to a blu ray disc, but the other two movies are formatted differently in their folders and I haven’t managed to work out how to rip them.

I’ll show you what I mean, the movies’ folders go like this after I’ve extracted them:
Star Wars Despecialized v2.7:
(SW_DEED_v2.7_AVCHD > Star Wars Despecialized 2.7 AVCHD > BDMV + Readme) I think I ripped the BDMV Folder and that worked perfectly, but the other two are different and I’ve had no luck

(ESB_DEED_v2.0_AVCHD > Harmy’s THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK DE 2.0 Remastered (AVCHD) > 2 disc image folders and a readme)
(ROTJ_DEED_v2.5_AVCHD > ROTJ v2.5 AVCHD > 1 application, 2 disc image files, & a readme)
---- wtf do I rip?

Sorry if this is a nooby question and there’s a simple answer I’ve overlooked, but I really appreciate the help

I got my AVCHDs 4 or 5 years ago via older links in a previous version of the Ultimate Introductory Guide. The SW rars extracted as you described. For the other two films, the rars extracted to a folder (e.g. ESB_v2.0_AVCHD) with the following:

  • .iso file (an archive format containing the video + audio)
  • .mds file (DVD format info for the corresponding iso)
  • .txt file (“readme” info)

Hopefully, the newer links in the Guide gave you the same files?

If you have a PC, get hold of the free ImgBurn software for burning DVDs. Load the .iso file into “ImgBurn”, and it will automatically pick up the .mds file too and use the correct settings to burn the movie to DVD.

What you mustn’t do is burn the ESB_v2.0_AVCHD folder to DVD as a normal folder: this would just produce a data disc which cannot be read by a DVD player.

I’m trying it out now, and I’ll post an update when it’s finished.
I’m writing the larger of the 2 image disc folders, I think the problem was that I was making data discs like you said
