Frank Thornton 92.
James Herbert 69.
In the above picture are his Withnail & I co-stars Richard E Grant and Paul McGann both of which have played the Doctor in abortive attempts to bring the show back.
Richard was also up the role and auditioned after Tom Baker left but Peter Davison got the part instead.
Dr. Meinheimer! :( I thought he'd be older...
I think we should campaign to get Ralph Brown to be the Doctor after Matt Smith leaves.
Oh, that's sad news indeed.
I was a bit late on this one:
My guru, Marty Reisman.

As Jim was the father of the Muppets, his wife Jane was certainly their mother.

I've always planned on dying in my late forties (probably from lung cancer), so that I never have to get old. But suddenly, I feel like it might be worth it to hold off until the age sixty nine, just so I can continue to be inappropriate long after my death. I can just imagine kids reading my tombstone, figuring up my age, then chuckling to themselves for year and years to come. I do want to be cremated though... so, I'm not sure how that will work (the idea of being preserved and buried is really disgusting to me). I might have to work out the kinks closer to the time...

You live your life like your gonna die young, then you find yourself 60 years old, aching and wishing you would've taken better care of yourself.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Jane Henson 78.
Milo O'Shea 86.
Aw damn! Not the twisted Dr. Durand Durand! I hope that 80's band who nicked his name will pay tribute to him in some way...

Amongst his many memorable acting roles, he also had the unique honor of narrating the very first trailer for Star Wars.
He also narrated "The Story of Star Wars" LP
Sad to say, but my wife's grandmother passed away. Obviously no one here knows her, but I was closer to her than any of my own grandmothers. Of course it makes me sad, but now she's at peace. She was a good woman who lived to be 96. My wife is pretty sad, but she too feels content with her passing. Vaya con Dios, Abuelita.
Sorry to hear that, you and family have my sympathies, Ender.
Thanks, Warb :)

Roscoe Lee Browne did the narrating for "The Story of Star Wars" LP. Malachi Throne did the voice over for the "Star Wars" pre-release trailer.
