Languages will be (hopefully) English, German and French (thanx to FLO, who also gave you Kirkless french, spanish and italian)
Subtitles will probably be only English, since this is an edit of 2 (3) movies and making these subs for different languages is a lotlotlot of work. Sorry Svenska, no nordic version. But maybe someone wants to be helpful and pops up. If you do, pm me.

i don't really see the point to having different languages...

subtitles seem much more natural (omg, even ANIME has bad dubbing most of the time...)

i feel like a moron when i have to watch movies with my subtitle-disliking friends - also... keep the quality as high as you can. none of this 2 hour, 2 gig dvd nonsense.

well, some million people ONLY watch dubbed versions and they like fanedits.

I think another point for fanedits is that when having multiple languages it's much easier to have multiple audio dubs than subtitles, as it's far easier to keep the audio in sync as the edit is made. Editing subtitles to fit a fanedit is quite tedious.

The edit is continuing well, this will be quite different from the first deZIONized, since we changed a lot of things that still bothered us.

VIDEO is done, AUDIO in progress, there will be the promised 3 languages (ENG, FR, GER).
Our first plans were to release that as 2 DVDs, with a nice extra fanedit about the ZION war, but this is not going to happen, because of more important projects. But maybe you, Spence, Yoshimi, ADM, greencapt, wmgan want to help here for the fans and make this special edit. Just contact me, if you are willing for a co-operation with the CBB group.

Due to space reasons, there won't be any extras except for the new trailer and English subtitles on the DVD (of course there will be animated menus and chapter selection).

Just real quick, will there be a region 1 release this time? I tried hunting down the first version and it said that only region 2 was planned for the first release. That was over a year ago though so I could just be horribly out of date with my info.

Either way though this sounds awesome.

no region code or all. Yes, I remember the comments on the first deZIONized having a Region Code 2 only, but it was never created by anyone.
The new release is NTSC widescreen, exactly the same resolution as the original DVDs, menus are also widescreen. The picture quality now kida rocks, but see for yourself. There will be only a single layer release, even though the movie is a bit long, but I don't want anyone to use DVD shrink on it, so it will SL from the very start.

I'm REALLY looking forward to this. I have the older PAL version that I haven't watched, only because I thought the first screening deserved a projection screen, and mine is NTSC only...

please help me seed this on piratebay too. The Swedish deserve all fanedits they can get. They are the ones that started it all for me and I will never forget that.
