"Champions of the Force"; Holly's Attack of the Clones edit (Work In Progress)

Hello!

After many years of concept development and tinkering, I am happy to reveal this project!

STAR WARS: Champions of the Force is my upcoming edit of Attack of the Clones.

Why start with Episode II?
I have a very strange passion for this movie that is driving this edit forwards. Despite my favorite prequel being ‘The Phantom Menace’, whenever I try to edit it I always hit a brick wall with enthusiasm. That’s what happened to my abandoned “Dawn of War” project.

Main Edits:

• Shot-by-shot color correction
• Totally remade sound-design (roomtone, general mixing, etc.)
• Every scene is totally reworked to reduce bad-ness and maximize effectiveness and enjoy-ability
• Remastered Deleted Scenes to better integrate with rest of the film
• Brand new visual effects shots to aid story changes/reduce outdated effects
• Use of original sound effects and score from the Original Trilogy and beyond to enhance certain moments

Also I didn’t realize you could hyperlink images so A+ for presentation.

i assume it’s Vimeo’s compression. My original version looks fine.

I plan to eventually edit all three prequels.

I plan on editing The Rise of Skywalker. I’m not so sure yet about the other two. If I did, the edits would be very minor.

I’m just a simple woman trying to make my way in the universe : )

Definitely agree with all this.

Most interested in your visual changes. I think a couple shots in the teaser might be a bit too blue but otherwise looking rather filmic.

This is where I’m at too. I’m curious to see what ideas you have for TROS.

I agree about the blue comment, and will work to improve this. : )

I’ve discussed my plans for it a little bit in the main ideas thread, but I don’t think I’ll have any concrete ideas until we get our hands on the home release.

Cool. You always have interesting edit ideas so I’m excited to see what you’ve done with this movie (which I sometimes convince myself I like more than ROTS).
