Take it with a grain of salt but IMDb claims George Lucas is writing two episodes for the show. I’d love for it to be true but they also said Ben Burtt was involved with The Rise of Skywalker and that proved to be false. Here’s hoping though as I’d love see him involved again and more stories from him!

"Pleasure’s fun. It’s great, but you can’t keep it going forever; just accept the fact that it’s here and it’s gone, and maybe then again, it will come back, and you’ll get to do it again. Joy lasts forever. Pleasure is purely self-centered. It’s all about your pleasure: it’s about you. It’s a selfish, self-centered emotion, that is created by a self-centered motive of greed. Joy is compassion. Joy is giving yourself to somebody else, or something else. And it’s a kind of thing that is, in its subtlety and lowness, much more powerful than pleasure. You get hung up on pleasure; you’re doomed. If you pursue joy; you will find everlasting happiness.” - George Lucas

Still my most anticipated current Star Wars project, and that practical street set only adds to that.

A street is enough to get you excited ? Damn, I miss being young :DDDDDDDDD

I’m 48, but yes, streets from a galaxy far, far away do excite me.

I agree that I’m really excited for Andor, and that’s because we’ve got to see some set pictures and concept art. That’s enough to make me hyped! I’m convinced this will make a really great Star Wars story.

I actually think Andor has a great premise. You have a character that is not that high in the power or popularity tier levels but that has shown hints of depth and a nuanced morality, this makes it a great protagonist for a smaller-scale setting and stakes that still could make for an engaging plot and worldbuilding thanks to the spy aspect. Hopefully they will tackle Cassian’s Separatist past, that could make him stand out even more (since the canon has barely delved into the benevolent people on the Confederacy’s side). I really like the Star Wars underworld as a setting, because it offers a lot of opportunities to reach further in regards of what the galaxy has to offer in regards to tone, locations and setpieces.

I agree. There’s just so much potential to show scenes during the Imperial reign we haven’t seen much of before. I loved the the scenes on Lothal during the Empire’s occupation complete with propaganda and recruitment ads. Everyone gets dirty in war and to see more of that gray morality of the Rebellion would be interesting. Everything has a cost. Plus I think Diego Luna is great. This can’t get here soon enough.
