So do any of you guys have Steelhorses? if so what is it?

I've got a 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan EN 500.  It may not be a big bad Harley, but hey I just graduated college last year and it's all I can afford, and it's my baby and I love it.  And I think it's pretty badass nonetheless.

And here's adding some reall irony to this argument.  Since I joined here recently I've been trying to decide what restorations to get, and after reading through tons of threads and looking at all the edits available, I've decided to get Puggo's, Ady's, and your V3's :p   Each has its own different, and equally awesome approach, so why resign myself to just one?  Can't wait till either of you are finished!

Hey nothing wrong with a Kawasaki, I am not a hard nosed Harley Davidson ONLY type of guy, my first bike to learn on was a Kawasaki Vulcan 750, I needed a small cruiser type bike to learn on, and man do I wish I would have kept that little thing, it was a nice shaft driven bike, and great on gas, my 2007 Harley Davidson Fat Boy uses almost the same amount of gas as my big 4x4 RAM LOL, but I still can't wait to get it back next week, all ready to go for the Spring.

OH, and I am glad you are interested in the V3 DVD's, and I to will be grabbing Puggo's new DVD, hell yea, the sample looked damn cool, and I am sure I will grab Ady's to just to have it, but truth be told, it is hard for me these days to watch ANY version of the SW movies because I have seen them, and heard them, waaaaay to much lately with all these projects I have been doing, so once this latest is finished, I probably will not watch another SW movie until the official Blu-ray Saga Set comes out, OH crap, I will have to watch my Blu version for testing, darn I forgot about that.

Now HERE's something we agree on! I've seen these movies so many times that unless I fast forward to my favorite scenes I tend to fall asleep... of course you have more reasons for having see nit. Me? I'm just a fanboy.

Yeah I just tore mine apart at need to get a few new parts for it, and as soon as I do it should be warm enough to ride, I can't frickin' wait.  And the gas mileage of mine is one of the best parts of it - upwards of 50mpg.  I hardly ever drive my (shitty) car at all in the summer.

But I can't wait to get a big 'ol bike some day.  Although I think I'd want a Vitory of some sort, or a Moto Guzzi since I am Italian.  If I did get a Harley thought it would definitely be a Night Rod Special.  I just think that is the most badass bike in the world.  It's the goddam batmobile of bikes.

This is one of the main reasons I've been trying to find the best versions to get before I start downloading and watching them all.  Don't wanna get burnt out!

But I just found out tonight that my 18yo male cousin has NEVER SEEN ANY STAR WARS MOVIE EVER.  I don't know why his life has been so deprived, but I'm about to correct this horrible, horrible oversight, so that'll give me a good reason to watch yet another version.

The Night Rod is pretty cool, I just saw that on the showroom floor at my local dealership a few days ago, but it is a little to black for me LOL, I like good paint and some chrome, not tons of chrome like most, just some, I am a big fan of a nice paint job, however, before I took it from the dealership, I HAD to have a Vance & Hines full exhaust installed and a Pro Performance Hypercharger, gotta love the Harley rumble.

I am a HUGE fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger, and when I saw Terminator 2, well I knew right then, what Harley I wanted, and I knew someday I would finally get one, as a matter of fact, I just got the title to my bike in the mail today, so I am a very happy camper!

Yes and all those are fair points, but changes are changes, I NEVER specifically said you were a "hypocrite" now did I? no I did not, and GL can do with his movies whatever the hell he wants, he owns them, not us, and as far as the OT goes, we are not even talking about that, everyone already knows, and have known, that these are not going to happen(hence all the damn projects I am doing) fact is fact, and yes, some people in his thread like the SE's as well as his(Ady's vision) but some of those people in that thread bitch up a storm and call for GL's head because of the changes he made(remember they are his films) but then turn around and praise Ady as the SW GOD because of ALL the changes he is making, now THIS is what I find rather amusing, and at least some in the thread understood where I was coming from.

I am not knocking Ady or his vision of things, that is his baby, it is the people that I mentioned that want GL's head, but then praise someone else for doing radical changes.

*edit- I didn't really start getting riled up until someone accused me of calling everyone in the thread a hypocrite, which I did not.

Fair enough. When you put it like that, I can't really disagree with any of it. Plus, I was feeling damn argumentative after the week I've had. Nothing a few Red Stripes didn't fix. But that's on me, so apologies all around.

you're not alone, I never had one. wait do you mean even as a passenger? I have, a handful of times, but I'm not comfortable with the speed and the wind on my face.

You're right. The adult thing to do would be to ignore you completely, but I'm bored.

Me to, So you, twister, and rockin, teaming up on me, this is to funny, this whole damn thing started because I agreed with Jeyl in Ady's thread LOL, but it does not bother me at all, fire away guys, hell you guys can even wonder over to my project threads and post and protest over there to, that way we don't have to just stay here in this thread.

Nah I'm done. You've just established what I originally thought, which is you are egging people on to argue with you.

But you still haven't answered my question.

I think we all get that you don't care about what you say... We get that. I must ask though, more simply, what makes you think it's OK to be like that and still get away with it? Someone is always going to take offense. You are literally inviting people to.

Moth3r if you are reading this, if the rules don't apply to dark_jedi because he's a friend then fair enough - your call, as you are the boss. But, I will say it seems a tad unfair to other people - assuming that is the case with the rules.

I'd actually prefer it if we could all just get along, but I get the vibe it's impossible with you dark_jedi.

Egging on arguments is not what I have done(not deliberately) see now I feel that some of you have, and NOT caring about what I say, that is not right, I will say what I mean, I will not sugar coat, if something looks like shit or sounds like shit, that is precisely what I am going to say, hell I even say it when my own projects look and sound like shit, so not sure what you are getting at, reading more into what was typed I am sure.

and you calling out to Moth3r like a little tattle tale, well quit frankly, how does that make you look now? I have broken no rules, we are in the off topic my Friend, in case you didn't read that.

I to prefer it if we all got along, but some make that hard to do, that is why we have an ignore feature here, what the hell, use it, I get along with 99% of the people here, but if I get called out, sorry I am going to respond, I get called on for agreeing with another member, then I get accused of calling people "hypocrites", then I respond by assuming all that are throwing that out are AK's, I was not at any point dis respecting Ady's decisions on HIS project, it is just very funny how you better not dis agree or else.

So rockin, did you PM Moth3r?

I'm no tell-tale and I certainly don't have a problem with you in the way you keep implying and certainly don't hold the same grudge that you seem to have over me. I never once hated you, EVER. I have a ton of respect for you in the work you have done for the community. I just find your comments rude sometimes and I and others are fed up of dodging your comments which are provoking arguments.

The reason I asked for Moth3r's opinion (if he has been reading) is because I don't understand how you can get away with your comments and hostility in the other threads outside of 'Off Topic'. Maybe he knows you better, I don't know. I have watched your posting style change a lot as of late, and it puzzles me - it's like it has become more and more hostile. I'm not the only one to notice. And no I didn't PM Moth3r.

I would actually prefer to call a truce, as I never meant to come across like I'm on a warpath with you dark_jedi, but being honest I have found some of your comments offensive - that needs to be said.

Fair enough here as well, I would crack one open with you but I do not drink, never could acquire the taste for beer, I tried very hard to in my younger days, but failed terribly, and perhaps I was feelin a little bit of the same, but playing with my oldest Sons soon to be 1 year old Daughter last night brought me back from the Dark side, so I'm cool if you are.

Not sure what "devil's cigarette" is, but no I do not smoke either, I was to much into weightlifting and bodybuilding in my younger days to get into smoking, drinking, partying, etc.

Believe me, I know that very well(That shot was in Pumping Iron) I have all his movies, he was my inspiration in bodybuilding(because I am the exact same height as him, and because, well, he's Arnold) as well as, don't laugh, Bruce Lee, Bruce was a lot smaller, but damn was he built, and a GREAT fighter to, I actually met Arnold back in 1996 at the Arnold Classic, along with damn near ALL the top Bodybuilders at the time, OH, and the Female Bodybuilders and the Fitness Women to, damn what a great time that was, even chuck Norris was there.
