I've already started the NJO. I'm almost done with Dark Tide II. Unfortunately I read Destiny's Way first so I know alot of what happened in the earlier books.

hahaha i never read the Xwing series, it jsut didnt seem that interesting.

yeah wait till you get to traitor Dork, it is by far the best starwars book i have read. its jsut so insanely well written. i woudl almost be inclined to put rank that book as literature rather then Sci-fi. its liek the battlestar galactica for starwars. yes we say its in the sci-fi genra, but its more of a human drama then anything else.

I read the first book of the X-Wing series. I thought it was okay. Light, fluffy, no brainer reading. Perfect for summer. I finished book one and am waiting to get a hold of book 2 (I already have #3 waiting for me to pick it up). It's great since there is no Luke or Han or anyone because lord knows I don't want to read anything about them outside the movies. Those writers just screw everything up for me when they put them on "Extra special adventures" which basically turn into Star Trek episodes. Bleah.

yeah i know what you mean jenny, thats why i didnt like any of the books before NJO, the NJO is almost like a sequel trilogy, it takes place over 5 years, and it flows so well. its a 19 book series that feels like 1 big long book. the same way AOTCs and ROTS tied together with the clone wars. and ANH, ESB and ROTJ tie together.

Just finished Dark Tide 2 today and starting AOC 1: Hero's Trial tonight. Can't wait to read Traitor now.

The Xwing series was great. I just finished Final Prophecy, but I can't find my hardbound Unifying Force that I bought a year ago, so I guess I'll have to rebuy it (the paperback, that is. )

well he is following the exact same path as anakin right now. only there is no palpi around to encourage him. in many ways though vergeres teachings seems so very sith like in nature. that would be insane if we find out later that vergere had indeed fallen, or was a pupil of palps. and this special destiny that she always refered to, in destiny's way was that jacen would be the one to create a new sith order.

Need...to...buy...book...must...not...read...spoilers.

I still need to read the other Republic Commando book, along with Dark Lord. I just haven't gotten around to it.

I thought Lucas made it so they couldn't have any new Sith Lords after ROTJ? I heard he said that after Palpatine was brought back in Dark Empire because it went against Anakin being the chosen one.

well no i think the whole anakin choosen one thing was more he was there to reset the force, killed all the jedi and all the sith.
