High Road To China or Starchase : Legend of Orin

on DVD taken from LD at all?? They are two of my favourite films and I’m after them on DVD. I know High Road is out in Sweden or somewhere but the disc is 4:3 full frame and I know it was released on LD as widescreen. if anyones got either at all could they PM me please.

No kidding? Man, do I remember that film (even as a kid, I thought the "lightsaber" sword was a rip-off, but oh well. )

Starchaser actually has more parallels with The Matrix trilogy than the Star Wars trilogy!

In Starchaser a young man discovers he is 'the one' and his destiny is to free his people from being slaves to robots. In a past lifetime he went up against the robots and won but the robots are determined to stop him this time.
In The Matrix a young man discovers he is 'the one' and his destiny is to free his people from being slaves to artificial intelligence. In many past lifetimes he went up against the artificial intelligence and won but the artificial intelligence is determined to stop him for good this time.

I was so happy Starchaser came out on DVD. The old pan and scan LD is a *horrible* transfer. Looks like VHS even! There is a 3d version floating around transferred from the VHD videodisc format that only was available in Japan. But you'd probably need the electronic LCD glasses for that to work.
