I find that answer vague and unconvincing. Why don’t you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don’t you dig how beautiful it is out here? And say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

I think I get it now. I have to post the link in every relevant sub-forum, right? Media because it’s a video, Culture because it’s political and I’d better also post it in Random Thoughts, just to be sure.

Yes. Some people only read the sub forums that interest them. We wouldn’t want someone with some but not all of those interests to miss out on this video that I have no interest in watching!

O…

O no…

That… is some fucking garbage.

What DC deserves.

I can no longer call myself a Star Wars fan. I’m sick of the same played-out aesthetics/tropes being remixed/regurgitated time-&-time again; I’m sick of the deteriorating characterization/worldbuilding which have been in play since 1983; I’m sick of the toxic fanboys from all ideological camps; I’m sick of the capitalist pigs who refuse to allow this IP into the public domain where it rightly belongs. So while I may still admire the first two films for their technical achievements and characters, I’m no longer capable of enjoying Star Wars in any capacity due to the reasons delineated above.

THE BICYCLE OF SPRINGS
You know when you have an idea, buy some stuff, start putting it all together then stand back and think WTF am I doing, well thats “The Bicycle of Springs” haha. This has just been a laugh as with no purpose or real understanding of what I was trying to achieve everyone who has witnessed this has just laughed.

All hail the avant-garde.

SHUT UP ABOUT PLOT HOLES
a video by Patrick (H) Willems

I enjoyed that video, because the illogical parts simply added to its humanity.

Moreover, I think we should be thankful for these ‘inconsistencies’, because they make it possible for those truly great movie moments. Moments that tugged on the heartstrings and transcended mere logic to enter into the sublime.

That IGN video sucks, they didn’t use the old DVD for the unremastered version.

This one is better. I have to say, I am a bit conflicted over which one I prefer. It looks like they DNR’ed it within an inch of its life to me. Then again, it’s hard to know for sure over YouTube.

Also, what the heck is going on here?

Does seem a little hard to believe this is just the result of a restoration.

You can vaguely make out the same building details in the unrestored version, so they must have added something in between the source this restoration is using and the original broadcast tapes.
