Greeny, 2010 but no 2001?  For shame...
And do you love Batman Begins so much you put it there twice?

Uh-oh!  Is either of you with C3PX right now?  Because he goes through men like tissue paper, but just wait until he gets dumped.  All heck breaks loose and his inner hippie takes over!

That's me, remember? ;)

Still?  But, that was several days ago...

Is there a max number on splitscreening?

Traditionally, yes.

If I could pick one, it would be Star Wars. If I could pick two, it would be Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back. But how boring is that.

Well, this is what I list on my Facebook page:

 -SW Trilogy

-Alien

-Aliens

-Blade Runner

-Fight Club

-In the Mood For Love

-Chungking Express

-Dawn of the Dead

-28 Days Later

-Royal Tenenbaums

-The Conversation

-Neverending Story

-Taxi Driver

-Terminator

-Apocalypse Now

-Ravenous

-Gladiator

-Audition

-Rashomon

-Red Beard

-Last Life in the Universe

-Indy Trilogy

-Persona

-The Matrix

-Punch Drunk Love

-Amelie

-Evil Dead II

-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

-The Road Warrior

-Conan The Barbarian

-Ghost in the Shell

-Sunrise

Yeah. I don't think I could have a top 5 or a top 10. Maybe a top 20. I think you either have a favourite movie or you don't, and either way the runners up is a pretty long list.

I do think Kubrick is a good director, probably the best, but for me 2001 is way overrated.

Quiet Greenie, Kubrick is the best DIRECTOR. I mean, The imagery in the film is fantastic.

Oh and please don't tell me I need to go to art school to 'understand' it. I've been to art school and I do understand it, but I still don't enjoy it.

I told you to shut up greenie, we do enjoy it!

Sort of.

Oh and I like Blade Runner, Scott pilgrim vs the World and Monty Python and the holy grail  as well... I forgot to add that to my list

The writing is just as good as the imagery, it's just done without dialogue.

Zombie, I agree with most of your list ... but I cannot condone In the Mood for Love.  I hate that fucking movie.  My friends and I all call it "that noodle movie," because that's all that happens - the main characters buy noodles in slow motion about 8 or 9 times, and some boring shit happens in between.

Starship Troopers?

Ew.

In all honesty, I've probably watched "Troopers" more times than any other movie ever. In college I probably watched it 3-4 times a week.

Wow.

Why so often? Was it the only movie you owned?

It is pretty good though...

Soon it'll probably be 12 due to inflation...

Something about it spoke to me at that age. I was young, had problems with women, 9/11 had just happened... it was just the movie for me at the time.

Also...

I don't know how I forgot to list "The Music Man" as an all time favorite. Shirley Jones might be the most delightful looking woman ever captured on film, and Robert Preston has more charisma than a dozen Dwayne Johnsons. Great movie.

I'm related to the Late Robert Preston (Meservey) through 2 marriages.  Mine and my wife's brother's.

After learning this, I asked if I could meet him.  Sadly it was after he had already passed.  :(

Music Man is a great one.  I never could get through that Matthew Broderick one.

And Starship Troopers is also pretty good.  It's like StarCraft - The Movie!

And 12 Splitscreeners?  Well, who am I to judge?  But I'm a little more traditional than that.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

For me, that honor would have to go to Julie Andrews in Darling Lili.

Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.
