Just discovered this lovely thread. To everyone who’s posted on here so far, I DO care about your music collection.
Sending love.

CDs:

  • (the best of) New Order
  • TOTAL - Joy Division, New Order
  • Power, Corruption and Lies - New Order
  • Substance - New Order
  • Born In The USA - Bruce Springsteen
  • Nebraska - Bruce Springsteen
  • The River - Bruce Springsteen
  • Darkness on the Edge of Town - Bruce Springsteen
  • The Anthology - Joe Cocker
  • Miss Anthropocene - Grimes
  • Blade Runner (soundtrack) - Vangelis
  • Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (soundtrack) - John Williams
  • Tubular Bells - Mike Oldfield (maybe favourite album along with P, C & L?)
  • The Truman Show (soundtrack) - Philip Glass, Burkhard Dallwitz
  • Glassworks - Philip Glass
  • Solo Piano - Philip Glass
  • Donnie Darko (soundtrack) - Michael Andrews

Vinyl:

  • Temptation (12" single) - New Order
  • Low-Life - New Order
  • Thieves Like Us (12" single) - New Order
  • Rattlesnakes - Lloyd Cole and the Commotions
  • Spirit of Eden - Talk Talk
  • Tell Me How You Really Feel - Courtney Barnett
  • ‘Memories of Steam’ - this one’s literally an album of steam train noises
  • Power, Corruption and Lies - New Order
  • Unforgettable - Nat King Cole
  • Piano Concerto no.4 - Beethoven
  • Big War Movie themes - Geoff Love and his orchestra

I really love 80s music. I DO have Spotify, so it tends to be that the older records I like I get on vinyl.
Still hoping for records of The River, Tchaikovsky’s 6th Symphony (played this in an orchestra once), The Cranberrys’ first album, and another Star Wars soundtrack, TESB probably.

“Remember, the Force will be with you. Always.”
