I got an 8/16mm dual projector and a 16mm copy of Three Little Bruins, a 1940s documentary short film. I weeded Captain Marvel 4K and Blu-Rays of both Ant-Man films.

I wish Criterion had done the restored Spartacus BD so we could still have that cover.

It’s really baffling that Universal chose a boring photoshop job over that awesome (and iconic) poster art. Anyone who’s going to buy it already knows Kirk Douglas is in it…

2 discs of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES SEASON 1

The worst is when you find one in a box set. Though I guess the makers of the Star Trek movie box set never expected for someone to actually try and watch The Final Frontier.

What a grand and intoxicating innocence. How could you be so naive? There is no escape. Come, lay down your weapons. It is not too late for my mercy.
A New Hope Technicolor Recreation (Released!)
The Force Awakens Restructured (V3 Released!) and The Starlight Project (WORKPRINT RELEASED!)

A month ago today, I stop by a local thrift store and find an MGM DVD of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Less than a month later, I upgrade 2001 to Blu-Ray via an eBay lot that also included the soundtrack on CD. And yet I’m still keeping the DVD because of it’s original 70mm six-track audio.

Just in case you didn’t know, the newer Blu-ray actually includes the original audio mix, not to mention it has a much better transfer than the older Blu-ray.

SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.

I obtained a UMD copy of Alien, but it’s in 1:78:1 Anamorphic Pan and Scan.
