I have had nothing to do with the military and never will friend!!!!

Knowledge' true knowledge will set you free !!

I would never be willing to fight for a system all around this planet that expects others to fight for their own lack of understanding / pride / arrogance and so on.

I am an avid Laserdisc collector and would be grateful if any of yourselves on this site, who are still into the laserdisc, software and Hardware would get in touch, as i look forward to hearing from you all.

So... Broomo/Zigfried whatever you call yourself these days, what kind of laserdisc software do you have?

Sorry friend what do you mean by 'whatever you call yourself these days'

Where do i start with answering your question?

I started purchasing Laserdisc's in March 1998 97% of my collection are from the USA.
3% are PAL (but most PALS are not that good.)

From 1999 to present day i have been purchasing many titles from Japan and i must admit i do prefer these (the cover art and quality covers faultless.

By the end of this year i should have completed the purchase of most title i am looking for

Currently have reserved in Japan with one seller aprox: 45 titles and aprox: 8 titles with another.

I did not realise how attached i would be to the format, but i am glad i did.

I love changing the disc's, the sound of the players and so on.
The only drawback about this format is the cost of the disc's and player's, but i guess that's the price you pay for being different.

Shall be purchasing a Brand new Pioneer ELITE CLD 97 in August, from a seller in the USA which will take about four payments.

In July i will be purchasing an HLD X9 from a seller (friend) in the uk which will also take about five payments.

Finally i shall be purchasing a Pioneer HLD X0 in 2008 from one of the sellers in Japan who will have the player fully serviced before shipment.

All this has been a labour of love for me and also a struggle, but i shall eventually get there.

How about things with yourself and how is life with you.

Kindest and sincere regards

You sound like a Nigerian e-mail scan.

If you're NOT Ziegfried you picked a pretty funny thread to introduce yourself and brag about how much money you have to spend on outdated equipment.

Heh, I hadn't seen Borat until just this evening. Very funny movie. But, Broomo aka chewbacca's posts are rather funny to read as if Borat were speaking them.

Now that I think about it, perhaps blaming the cancellation of "Mr. T" cereal on the Jews is what drew this new poster to the forums.

I do not brag about what equipment i have and am deeply offended by what you have replied with
This has taken me about 10 years to achieve this.

I have had a bad day but heh! you wouldn't care about such things would you

why have you replied to my thread in this way when you do not even know me as a person.

I am offended friend

You are better than this and i do not deserve someone to send me a message like this.

We are all adults here are we not?

When i say friend i mean it ( if you want to be rude and offend others,) then that is not a good start

Sir,
it is not so much that we are immature idiots here (although that IS a factor,) as it is that you chose an odd thread to introduce yourself in. See, this troll ZigFried just left the forums and all of a sudde na new guy is posting in the same thread... dig? Suspiscion is very common here of trolls and multi-user accounts, as apparently we've had some trouble with it. I hope our first encounters have not scared you off from this very fun community.

Yeah, I'd say that it is about time that ZigFried just give up and leave once and for all, but I doubt he will.
