WG, may I ask then where to find your HD releases?
RTFT.

I've read this thread. I know that this release was posted on a.b.starwars....what I don't know, and was asking was where does WG post and share his HD releases? Some mystery thread on OT.com? or just on a.b.starwars...? Excuse me for not knowing.....that's why I asked....telling me to RTFT is really uncalled for.

I love everybody. Lets all smoke some reefer and chill. Hug and kisses for everybody.

Ok, now that's funny.

I was kinda under the impression that Moth3r was right -- that x264 (either as a transport stream or as .mkv) is what the cool kids are using.

Not so?

In the spirit of edumacation (really: this is not some "I know better than you do" attack) could you elaborate on why you've gone with WMV-HD?

I must say, this is a very nice looking release. I grabbed all the same sources, but I doubt I'd ever have gotten around to doing the editing and rendering needed. Many, many thanks!

Just managed to get hold of this. Unfortunately my Mac will only play the image via VLC. But, the image is fantastic. I look forward to the other five!!!
Well done Wookiee Groomer!

Not that x264/AC3 isn't smart, but...
The digital video industry is already adopting VC-1. It is a mandated codec for next-generation optical media formats such as High Definition DVD (HD DVD), Blu-Ray, and the forward versatile disc (FVD) standard, and is a required codec for Digital Video Broadcasting—Handheld (DVB-H).
