Woodstock 1970 Theatrical Cut Vs Directors Cut

Ok, I get it. People say the Director’s cut is better because it had more scenes involving Janis Joplin, Canned Heat, etc. But, The Theatrical cut IMO is more short, to the point, and for a fact, isn’t being released on Streaming, Blu-ray, or DVD anytime soon. Which is very important because the Director’s cut isn’t the one that won the Academy Award for Best Documentary in 1970, so we need to preserve the original. I have the laserdisc of the original cut, but all you’d have to do is use it as a template and edit down the already existing Blu-ray of the Director’s cut.
