That is good to know. Now I can admit that I re-watched it over the weekend and discovered that it is now my new favorite movie!

Also, since Forrest Gump came out in 1994 and Jazz Jack Rabbit also came out in 1994, I feel it is appropriate that it should now be my new favorite video game. (The game and the movie share some interesting parallels in their themes, so much so that it almost feels like they were intentional, Jazz Jack Rabbit is actually very close to a real unofficial video game version of Forrest Gump. I can talk about this more in a later post if anyone is interested).

That is all.

You should make a thread about your new favorite movies and video games and how they are related and also how you should get a signed apology from the stars of the movies that give you bad memories.

Having never seen Legend, I have no idea what you are talking about.  Tom Cruise?

C3, I played Jazz the other day! I still prefer 2 but the original is a fun curiosity.

I've actually never played the second one.

I actually choose Jazz Jack Rabbit as my new "favorite game" to match my new "favorite movie" by looking up a list of games from 1994 and choosing the worst one I could remember playing that didn't have Star Wars in its title. Not that I didn't enjoy Jazz Jack Rabbit, I only ever had the demo version, but I have no doubt it ranks as the demo I have by far spent the most time on in my entire life.

The demo threw constant subliminal and non-subliminal advertisements for the Gravis gamepad at players and that always made me really want one. One day I found one on clearance and an Electronics Boutique and thanks to Jazz Jack Rabbit I didn't even have to think twice about blowing $10 on the thing. I went home in a mild state of euphoria, feeling kind of like I just found my own personal Holy Grail. I'm telling you, if that wasn't one of the biggest wastes of $10 I ever spent in my entire life...

I had a Gravis GamePad I'm sure I spent way more than $10 on.  I loved it.  It helped me get over my SNES envy to a degree.  Commander Keen played so smoothly on that baby.  That is, until I went to week-long scout camp and my brother and my cousin broke it but wouldn't admit it.  And my $60 stereo headphones with attached mic.  I never got a chance to use the mic at the same time, really.  BUT I WAS GOING TO!

Wait, why is this in the "ignoring thread"?
