Which of these unlikely events is most likely to take place? I just put a poll up for this topic.

George Lucas was seduced by the dark side. The OOT ceased to exist in his mind and became the Special Editions...." "They're more maching now than movies. Twisted and evil."

I chose hell freezing over

I honestly dont reckon it will ever appear, and he may/probably keep tinkering and releasing SE Versions 3 4 5 and P.T version 2 3 etc for a while yet, so there will be no chance, and even after he departs and becomes one with the force, I am sure he will have found a way to prevent it being released then..

I still think he will release the O-OT on the six DVD pack in 2007, with the SE, so we have the option. That way it wont be confusing to fans that a set of the old versions are released, and we, who don't love the PT, are stuck with a box set that we have to buy all 6 movies, thus milking our wallets even more.

Gosh, those are difficult to choose from! I'd say hell will feeze over first. From the way Lucas talks in interviews, he doesn't even seem to consider that people might not like his revisions. He always sounds like he's never really gave it that much thought.

I wonder if Lucas had to choose one, which one do you think he would release officialy first, The Holiday Special or the O.O.T both which seem unlikely events????
