Where did Marcia go?

Has anyone heard from Marcia Lucas? Has she been interviewed since everything went to hell?

(sorry if this thread is a repeat. search is a pain on this site)

I heard somewhere that George has a special screening room where the SE and PT blu-rays play 24/7.

Marcia's tears provide the water feature.

She's hiding somewhere in this picture. Can YOU find her?

She spoke to Peter Biskind in 1996 for his famous book Easy Riders, Raging Bulls.

She also spoke to me in 2009 or so, which I put in her unofficial biography.

She still lives in the Bay area, single as far as I know, but I'm not exactly what she does for a living. Given that she would be in her mid-60s maybe she is just retired. Her daughter recently graduated from USC and I think she is getting into editing, or post work, like her mom.

Zombie, I didn't know you spoke with her!!
Did she go back to her maiden name? How did you find her?

Did you put what you talked about in your updated edition?

That was a great read!  Very insightful.  Im glad she found happiness after Luca$.  If only more people new the real story about the true success of SW, and not just George.

It makes me wonder why some of these people haven't spoken up more. Kurtz has offered some nice tidbits in interviews recently, but none of the other major players seem interested in talking about the behind the scenes action.

My guess is that they accepted a long time ago that George was beyond reason, and it's simply not worth it to them to compete against the perceptions of millions of fans. Knowing the truth about their contributions is peace enough for them.

They may not be spilling the beans, so to speak.  But the fact that almost none of the cast and crew from the OT were surprised at amateurish nature of the PT speaks volumes, IMO.  Dissapointed, but not suprised.

I don't think GL ever got over Marcia/the divorce. And I think the sloppy changes to the original film are his way of flipping her the bird.

Winner.

I think mainly he can't get over the fact that she was the brains behind editing/structuring the first film.

Without being able to prove it I agree with this 100%. Though I'm glad he is finally in a relationship again.
